Nah…nothing kinky in this thread. Just some pictures I took today while hiking in North Vancouver. My passion for mountaineering is no hidden secret to those who have known me for several years on gupshup. So, just to give a little bit of taste of splendous beauty of British Columbia, let me take you on a hike. I just wish that my photography skills were as good as mountaineering, but did whatever I could. So here it starts everytime- place where I stay
Average day in Vancouver during the winter and spring seasons is not much different than today’s. This picture is taken from Cleveland dam, and the summit lies somewhere in the clouds probably on top of the picture. I am sure you can guess

So here we get to the foot of the mountain and beginning of the trail. Why in the world name Grouse Grind… well simple reasons; you can spot grouse in summer on the trail…and no matter you have done this trail countless number of times…
In the mountaineering world few gestures are more appreciated than keeping the trail open after a snowfall..and simply ‘breaking’ it for other hikers during adverse weather conditions..well today I took that honor…just happened to be at the right place at the right time
