These Pholowing people are as Western as any of their white counterpart.

Munshi for the West are those who are still in Bharat, working for Dell tech support for few cents an hour, dying to get out of the miserable $hitehole of a country.

The BPO is already shifting to KPO, IT Services are already shifting to Product Development. The automotive component industry already supplying to whole world. The advertisement by autocompanies, the 40% cars we made last year were not sold in India (but outside) are common.
Let Munshis................ rule................ :D

Sure Pakistanis can try as much as they can. However "being Munshi" in the core competency of only Bharat. So Pakistan won't be able to secure more than few %ages of the BPO outsourcing.

but i would like to contribute something here.

as some one said we are " munshis" and called india 'shi...hole'. Ok...let me explain what our munshis do. I am only telling things that are happening only in india

*There are approximately 120 'munshis' in tata consultancy servises who are working to redesign or improve the ferrari F-1 car.
*one of my highschool class mates, and in engineering my batchmate, he is also a 'munshi'. This munshi is working for a company called 'e-muzed'. he being a 'munshi' writes software codes for mobile phones. 'e-muzed''s main customers are nokia and sony ericsson.
*i-flex is one of the leading bankng software companies operating from bangalore. The 'munshis' that are working over there developed a product called 'flexcube'. It's a leading banking software product used in the world.
*i have one more friend. She is also a 'munshi'. her designation is 'software test engineer'. She works for 'aztech software'.
*one of my classmates in engineering, works for daimler-chrysler reasearch and development centre in bangalore. recently he was nominated as the "best 'munshi'(employee) of the company".
*like this there are many. one more thing nokia, sem-india, cyprus semicomductors, intel are going to hire indian 'munshis' for their production or fab facilities in chennai and hyderabad.
*caterpillar, inc, USA is going to hire some more 'munshis' from bangalore for their centre.
*'Munshis' in HCL tech, in noida, are working on avionics for 'boeing' and chip design for 'advanced micro-devices' USA. HCL is also providing CAD/CAM/CAE services for mainly Boeing, DC and BMW.
* SAP Labs is also going to hire more 'munshis'
*FINALLY..LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST ....all 'munshis' will be hired from engineering colleges.
*still there are many more like GE, Emerson, Ford, the tatas, the HCL
general motors,ingersoll-rand,etc, etc, etc.....

Besides there are many indian companies which are prospering like TCS, infosys, Wipro, Larson & Toubro, Satyam Computers, HCL Tech, lntees, etc by integrating with the world economy.

anyway...the list goes on.

But no matter what, 'munshis' in india are way far behind when compared to 'munshis' in US of A. When it comes to 'munshi' work it's difficult to beat them. We dont have any intention to beat anyone.

We just want more jobs to be created and improve our standard of living. we dont care or atleast I dont care what other countries are doing. If others also prosper, then we will also prosper as the economies every country is linked with each other in one way or the other.

there was a time when japanese prodcuts are also considered cheap quality because of lack of co-ordination in the manucafacturing process. they improved and today japaneser are known for their quality. chinese are going on the same line. initially the chinese products in the market are really cheap. India on the otherhand had understood the problem of quality from beginning. babus and munshis people are mentioning are turning into a real enterprenuer with modern business management. and that's why made in inda tag is getting more appreciation in the world market.

Navtech, to me it seems like you lack knowledge. I strongly believe you did not go to the US or Canada or to mention even in Europe. Do you know why Cheap Chinese goods are dumped in India? Its because they feel that the Indians cannot afford expensive goods. There are still 400 million of Indians under poverty line. Meaning homeless indians or cannot afford a square meal. After all the researching China started to Dump the cheap goods. Wherever there is demand there is supply. And likewise there is demand in India and thus supply. It is only because there is demand thus supply, and no demand then there can never be a supply. But if you happen to go to the west you will only find the top quality good supplied to the US, Canada and Europe.

One more thing, If I were you, I wouldn't say it so loudly about the infrastructure in India. Why wouldn't I say that? Coz i damn well know what infrastruture in India is. Just one last thing, please write to the bangalore airport authority to do something about the mosquitoes breeding inside the airport. It's a shame! Also do something about the stench in Chennai and bombay. Did i hear you say Super Power? :D :D :D
