I am anxiously awaiting this movie.
Martin Scorcese is back in the Gangster movies.
This time its the Irish Gangsters in Boston.
Critics have called it the best movie of the year and the best movie of this current decade.

Impressive cast. Never thought I'd see Wahlberg and Damon in the same movie.
I want to see it -- and I don't really care if it is a remake because I have liked every movie I have see that Martin has made.

Jack Nicholson had more than his fair share of moments! Di Caprio was the best of the lot (excluding Nicholson ofcourse).

Agreed, I didn't have such high expectations going into the movie and I was completely BLOWN AWAY.FANTASTIC MOVIE... enough said.

It’s not the plot. Anybody else with that plot would have totally f’ed up the film. It is Martin Scorcese the genius who knows how to tell a story while not isolating his audience from the proceedings.

Repeated material? We all know it has been adapted from another movie. But it certainly isn’t rubbish! I hope you watched it before passing on judgement (in your case, I would say that’s highly unlikely).

and besides i could care less about critics
i love gangster movies and especially scorcese, and michael mann movies
so i loved Miami Vice and I loved this movie

Brilliant.
I'd have to concur with Mr. Roeper in saying it was the best movie of the year so far. Great performances across the board. Specifically Nicholson and Wahlberg who had some great moments. And of course, DiCaprio and Damon are always going to be just as awesome.
The direction was practically flawless. Great dialogue. Smart.
Basically, I haven't seen a movie this good in a long, long time.

Oh My God! This movie is AWESOME!
Decaprio is HOT! He did an awesome job! Actually everybody was great. Alec Baldwin played the oblivious cop really well. Wahlberg had the best potty mouth ever lol. Martin Sheen :k:
And ofcourse, Jack Nicholson! I dont think anybody could’ve done a better job!
I wanna go watch it again.
