Re: The death of civil society in Sindh
okay. just click the column / articles option and you will find columns of Amar Sindhu and Dodo Chandio there. Its in Sindhi and I just wanted to bring it from Sindhi media, as its been PPP’s politics now to call a person raising voice for Sindh as Sindh Dushman. Kavish is the biggest circulated daily in Sindh.
Edit:
One can find articles as under:
May 9, 2014 article : Zakhman saan raand karan jo fun

Re: The death of civil society in Sindh
This is a real problem. But you can not blame all this to CM only. Do you think there are some responsibilities lie on the shoulders of young Sindhi doctors, who prefer to work in big cities and want to go to Mid east or even western world to earn big bucks? You can not blame the greed of young Sindhi doctors who take oath before getting the degree to serve poor and rich a like. You should run a campaign for convincing the Sindhi doctors to have some pity on these poor people and sacrifice their greed to serve humanity. You can not make one person responsible whom you call bhanghi, kutta or what ever to divert the real problem of these greedy medical professionals who have closed their eyes and have dick sympathy to serve these poor people.
And rest assure that neither I am fond of Zardari nor his inefficient CM of Sindh.

Who said that? PO was talking about restrictions/ban by ZAB, I proved that the real @$$ kicker was Zai-ul-Haq jis ne apnay 11 saal zaalim hukumat main sub ki bolti bandh kar ke rakhi thii.

That is the fact. What PPP gone through its previous rule, was totally handicapped by military establishment and ex-CJ. Are you still in denial the fact PPP have always been subject of restrictions by those who had absolute power to do what ever in their power including bribing politicians against PPP?

Please think over the topic of the thread. I've said civil society of Sindh, its zameer, its ghairat has died that they bring these vultures as representative and keep silence on their statements. Young doctors are also part of this society. When Pir Mazhar ul Haq (education Minister of Sindhi in last tenure) was selling primary teacher seats for humdred of thousands which openly known to every Sindhi of these towns, you can guess what could have been the rate of a Doctor's post. Jo paise de ke job le ga, wo dehaat main saRne ke bajae shehr main qasai bun ke logon ko lootne ko prefer kare ga.
The question is why PPP govt didn't appoint doctors in those areas offering comparatively better packages to them? Don't they appoint doctors in rural Punjab?
I've expressed my anger for Mr CM, as he was very much stupid and careless in giving such statements. he is justifying his stupidity with such statements. First he said that 'Thar ke logon ne zindagi main kabhi ek laaakh ruppe dekhe bhi nahin honge' and now this rubbish. Kaash ye shah saheb Arghoon door main paida huwa hota aur iski zaban khench li hoti Arghoonon ne.
Re: The death of civil society in Sindh
You mean to say establishment said them ‘don’t fill vacancies of doctors in Sindh’? ![]()
This latestest statement is also written by establishment which was very well delivered in Sindh Assembly by the siyasi actor Mr Qaim Ali Shah? he really deserved best actor in comical role for this year ![]()
Re: The death of civil society in Sindh
You are right but don't blame PPP . It was Ayoub who send Pathans to attack Lalukhet , First division in Sindh people . It was he who shifted the capital from Karachi to his GHQ area . It was he ,who started quota system in presence of one Unit . Before that Sindh capital was Hyderabad . It was Yahya who merged Karachi into Sindh again . It was Zia who created all type of warriors . It was Mush who backed MQM to regain power .
Think of 12 May 2007 again .

For a moment even if I agree with you that the federal government was under pressure from the establishment, no one stopped them from working in the province. I have said this many times in the past, but I believe Sindhs biggest problem is that they don't have alternatives. If PMLN does not work in Punjab, I can guarantee you they'll lose the next elections. Same is true for kpk.

Then let Sindhis bear these blood sucking vultures, is the only response you will get from jiyalas. They will not raise voice against injustice, inefficiency of their leaders because it require zameer, which was also hanged by the establishment alongwith Bhutto :D
Re: The death of civil society in Sindh
One thing that I have observed, especially in Karachi. MQM's behavior has changed a bit after the elections, they got a little shock from PTI. And now they are trying to gain sympathies through victim card as compared to the previous image they have been portraying (that of a bully). PPP also needs a competitor (doesnt matter which party).

Yes, political awareness (through education) is the way to go, but the feudals wont allow that as that would erode their power base. Sadly enough the vacuum is being filled up by non state actors (madrassahs of all sorts), and the end result would be even worse (as compared to the province slipping out of PPP).

As far I know doctors of Sindh are very reluctant to serve there. That is a major problem. Unless a law be passed in SA that doctors have to serve at least three years in Thar, they will not be allowed go abroad, these vacancies will remain unfilled who so ever rule Sindh.
