The country, I pledged to visit soon

For eon years ago there was a soul. Now there is none.

During my post graduation speech I pledged to visit that country. Now i want to go and smell the mesmerising fragrance of cane.

Can you guess the country ? The country where no pakistani has gone before, to learn their way of life , their technology , thier sureal way of survival before its too late.

This is the country which may sruvive after December 21, 2012.

I want to apply for a visit visa. Does anyone know how can I apply for Visa to that country’s embassy in Islamabad ?

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

…:aq: I would help if i knew what country your refering to?

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

I think the name of country should be on surface now as it is a well known place on world map. Okey, this is the biggest hint I can offer

This is the only country on the map of the world where its industry, its life style and cycle wont be affected a if world’s fuel (petroleum , gas) production stops tomorrow for unlimited period of time.

The name should not be a mystery anymore :chai:

Go to their embassy in Islamabad and knock on the reception window, a robot will open the window, type in your request, he will process your request and print you a visa form to fill in or you could do it on his keyboard. The robot will than shut the window in your face and send you a text message that they will let you know the outcome of your application by email. :D

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

Theres actually many countries like that :smack:

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

interesting.....I am intrigued.

Lets start this virtual relationship now ; tell me their official email address so that i can send my request for Visa:chai:

I can only ask a robot to do something for me but can not request ..

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

Bulls eye :k:

M2k - do the honour and take the fellow members on board the discovery cruise ship to Southern side of America. A whole continent , which is still a mystery for most of us who are obsessed with North America

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

^^ as soon as you said a country that makes its own fuel...I knew it was Brazil because they are refining sugar to make fuel....and are completely self sufficient... :)

Re: The country, I pledged to visit soon

^ I did a comprehensive research work on alternate fuel capability for pakistan (ethanol) and Brazil was the only country which has revolutionized it self after 1970s oil crisis.

I mentioned sugarcane in my post as Brazil enhanced its production of sugar to make large quantity of ethanol from by products of sugar industry. Pakistan also has a big sugar industry. But sadly the by product is sold cheaply for other purposes and no govt paid any attention toward making bio fuel from wastage, which is very easy and cheap. Just PSO (Pakistan State Oil ) announced a mixture (80:20) and launched it in market as envirment and vehicle friendly fuel. This is common trend in europe ( to mix ethanol in gassoline ) for years.

So Pakistanis have not been to Brazil yet?

Once you’ve been there you’ll realize that it’s not any better than Pakistan. It’s one of the most unmoral countries in the world also. A country where porn is sold EVERYWHERE. You can go anywhere and there it is, Porn. They sell toys for kids and porn at the same places, right next to each other. LOL

i don’t know in which world you are living, but their is a quite a population of Pakistani in Brazil/Chile & Argentina.
