I know! This went on for quite a while. I just checked tho, and now there is no trace of either frog or snake. I wonder if someone got rid of them! Or if the satisfied snake scuttled off into the grass.

We couldn't decide what to do -- kill the snake, kill the frog and put it out of its misery, let nature take its course, etc etc.
In the end we did nothing.

I wonder why the forg did not jump away...was it sprayed with some paralyzing venom or something first..
or was it a mesmerizing look that the snake gave the frog before it started the feast...

Shiks -- Garden/Water snakes are common in most areas of the US I believe. This is the first time I've ever seen one tho.
