Have you ever felt an urge to leave everything behind and go away from people you know?
What was it that lead such behavior? boring routine, feeling that you are misunderstood, something missing inside you or some other reason?

Yeah I used to…back when I was depressed. Not anymore…life is all rainbow and butterflies now.

It was contrast that was hidden from him. He was a courageous person that once he knew the contrast, he didn’t try to hide in his comfort zone.
Going into seclusion is present in almost all religion. Buddhism (Gautam), Islam (Muhammad SAW in cave Hira) and Hinduism (Rama’s ban baas).

I think seclusion definitely helps you attain clarity of mind. I remember 10 days stay in a condor in a village called Hurley in UK without any internet and stuff. I made some revolutionary decisions during that period.

Before Muhammad was entrusted with Prophet hood at the age of 40 years, he used to go to cave Hira near Makkah and stayed there for many days mediating. This is the cave where he received first revelation of Quran.

What is Moraqba? Isn’t it same practice like Prophet Muhammad used to do in cave Hira.

It is meditation, it is usually perfumed in a secluded area.
