^ In case you want to hang out in a restaurant, hotel lounge, with cousins, etc. You don't want to be in your wedding clothes but also not in your negligee!
definitely remember to pack some hair conditioner - run it through your dry hair before jumping in the shower and it REALLY helps undo all of the teasing/tugging/nastiness that went into your updo. once the hair has loosened up under the shower, you can shampoo it all out - voila!
wow! thanks :) I wouldv'e imagined all the untangling would be easier had the hair been wet prior to conditioning.
The weddin will be in Pakistan INSHALLAH, dn obviously the night will b spent in Pakistan.probably in a hotel room, cz (in-laws)cumin from US. still depends might b at some relatives, dunno yet.....
but still tips most welcum :)
Ew go to a htoel, dont go to a relatives house for ur suhaag raat!!
umm don't shoot me :P. but does a bride wear her lingerie UNDER her wedding outfit or does she go back to the hotel and change into it before unwinding??
^ wudnt it be better to jus twait to wash/condition hair til after the valima is over? IMO all that work is useless cz th enxt day they'll be doing it all over again for the hair
but if u don't wash/condition ,then how will they do the hair for the walima...???....
i still remember what a pain it was to get rid of all the pins and back-combing the next day....

No way. Especially if the valima is not the next night. Even if you don't wash it fully, you may at least need to rinse it to make it look human once again :D

I wish I had thought to wear some of the shaping stuff. It didn't even occur to me. It's not like I had flab hanging out, but it probably would've helped my posture.

dry...wet...i'm sure it doesn't make a difference. the point is really that using conditioner should be your first step, rather than trying to comb or shampoo anything out. i literally had to spend no time struggling with my hair because of it :)
