OK guys, at times I have heard and have met some females who want soo many people at the birth of their child. These females want their husband which is understandable, however they also want their friends, their father, mother, close family memebers and all. I mean its like a show in there, the hospitals should start selling popcorn.
So I ask the females here, would you ever want anyone other then your husband or mother in the delivery room with you??
lolz @ popcorn. No way, i am not even certain i would want hubby there. My mother - yes. Maybe one or two other older female relatives whom i am close to (like my sister's mother-in-law). i wouldn't even want my sisters in there - the fewer people the better, come to think of it. i would feel nervous enough as it is.

OH yeah I think they should start putting in vending machines in the delivery rooms.
well first time i was too harsh on anybody (like ammi/ sis in law) who wanted to be there for 'moral support'....but it was in pak,
second time i was here ....n though i never wanted to have anybody else than doc. but soon i discovered i need a translator (she didn't understand english n i couldn't speak german) so hubby had to be there
but in normal situation ......no way ......!!!!
well first time my amie was with me and i was like amie go away plz but amies You know :halo: and second time i was alone with 1 midwife and 1 nurse ,never liked the idea to have hubby and whole family members with you .
no family members no sister no ammi,
I dont want them to see me while giving birth, I wouldnt even want to see myself giving birth, leave out my family members.
hubby? maybe. am still thinking about it, I guess if I want someone to be there, it will be my hubby.
I wish I just could be alone, give birth, clean myself, and then face everybody.
the thought of someone seeing me while giving birth is just so so weird, at that moment I might not think about it, but pehle bohat khayaal aata haye. I will be half naked, and in pain, is halat me to kissie ka saamna karna mushkil hoota haye.

I would only want myself and the baby there. No hospitals, no doctors, no mid-wives, no family immediately around.

In my home, when everyone else is away hopefully. I'd just ask my hubby to leave for a bit and come back I guess. I dont know if hubby would "allow" that, would have to ask him hehe.
well as for me since I am not married and not planning on getting married. However I think a son would be nice, a angle named Jibreal would come down talk to me then blow on me and 9 month later I would be with child. I would give birth the way Marium (ra) gave birth, then after that I would clean up and go do Namaz..........................................................Oh well just a thought :D
Munni, take a class on birhting and all will become clear. You should have your partner there and if you nudniks think that you want to be all alone…there are going to be nurses, doctors, people coming in and out all having differnt responsibilities to make sure that your child arrives in this world safely. Fathers play and important role in this. Leave the tribal thoughts for pehawar. Your husband would want to be there unless he is from there.
Are you nuts :D .. all alone . I saw or rather heard my sister giving birth and no way I say no way I am alone and certainly not without a team of qualified doctors, nurses and midwives. Hubby will be there to see what he has done to me.
