Muniya.........only till you can actually look at it and say NO to it without getting pangs .....but for the duration of the challenge .....QUIT :D.....
It has been two weeks since I had a soft drink, I slipped once after a dinner but stopped after just a sip. Also I have given up rice and white bread as well as chocolate. 2 weeks since I stopped eating all of the above. Alhamdulillah.
No change in weight but I do feel lighter

I’ve stopped coke , chocolate and cake and now allow myself only only special occasions .

Hello Everyone!
Yes, Im a part of this challenge too...anything to be healthy!
For my first challenge, I will give up soft drinks and sweets...they're my addictions and need to go.
I will try to give up potato chips, Insha'Allah. Will see how long this lasts.

no loss in inches either but just feeling a little less bogged down :) so that's always a good thing. I bet once I add exercise I might see the inches come off inshAllah
hmm..my biggest weakness is definietely crisps/chips french fries/even papri!! all of them!

So one day down and I haven't succumbed to Crisps. .. decided also to ban soft drinks too as I seem to be OD'g on all things that are wrong for me..
Never got on to the wii fit last night.. felt really guilty... Hate the feeling of not exercising as I know I will always feel so much better after I have excercised..

I have a long way to go in overhauling my diet.....i am cursed with not only a sweet tooth but a fried-tooth, a salt-tooth and yes diet soda. but baby steps they say.
week one (starting tomorrow) will be the dessert stuffs. cookies, cakes, candies, chocolates, ice cream, etc. :(

Ok so im gonna give up chocolate lol! (so hard typing that, u have no idea) along with fizzy drinks. From now on its strictly water or rooh afzah mum makes at iftari time :@: (am i allowed tht?) lol
gonna go and do exercise just before sehri so about half an hour cardio inshallah

I have to give up pakoras and I make it for my kids everyday.Today I was not gonna make it hubs don't want it but then kids ask mommy are you making ramazaan special pakoras.And I made them and eat them :(

I didn't realise but had a orange juice and lemonade..
Do I lose points for that :(
I have also been bingeing on biscuits, feels like I have replaced crisps with Biscuits.. not great.. :(

So I am to consume 1300 cals. Starting Monday the 24th, here is what I have done:
Monday: 1500 cals :(
Tuesday: 1300 cals or less :)
Wednesday: so far I've done sehri, so 500 cals I suppose, will report back later after breaking my fast.
Also, I have completely quit chocolate!

day one, so far so good! no chocolate/sweets. did have a spoonful of granola bran cereal but found out that the milk was sour :( so threw it all out. and i had a tsp of nautral peanut butter, since it has very lil sugar (2-3 grams per tbsp serving). not sure if htat counts though.
Tomorrow will be the REAL test since i will be out all day long and there's always temptation around.

For first challenge, I have decided to quit
Carbonated drinks
Parathas
Packed juices
cakes, chocolates, mithai type extra sweets
Ill have them only on special occasions
