the biased nudity factor

Why topless women from south Americans tribe in a national geographic documentary is rated G, but if it’s a modern world woman exposing herself in a show then it’s rated R? That makes me think that our tv rating is not based on nudity factor, but based on who is nude. That sounds pretty racist, isn’t it?

Re: the biased nudity factor

Brazilian Madals on FTV in mid night hot… :hmmm:

Are documentaries also R?

Re: the biased nudity factor

TLK…it may not be based on who but on why…

I said south American tribal women, not south American women

Re: the biased nudity factor

Intent/Purpose.

A naked person because they don’t know any better

vs

A naked person trying to arouse sexual responses

Re: the biased nudity factor

SO we can be naked if like to air our thangs out.. No arousal intended! :smokin:

Re: the biased nudity factor

Only if you are a junglee.

What do you mean by why? A topless modern world woman, even if she is not involved in any act of provocation, would either be censored or the tv rating will change. A documentary on topless beaches of Brazil will have a different rating than a documentary on topless tribes of Brazil.

Same reply to pwner.

nanga ho kar jungle mein mangal :roman:

Ok, for some reason, guys - no matter of what age, can’t discuss nude women without making remarks that only suits a hormone raged teenager. Evidence is in this thread :hehe:

Re: the biased nudity factor

Its a serious problem.

I think there should be a wide scale of donation centers for the benefit of topless women from South Africa.
Any piece of cloth to a used bra or even a burqa is welcomed.

Re: the biased nudity factor

Are tribal women trying to arouse viewers? Are the people who film them doing so with the intent to arouse? For them it’s a way of life. Do you think tribal women would agree to wearing clothes for the video? Most likely not.

Even if a topless, modern woman is not acting with the intent to be provocative…toplessness is still considered indecent in the modern world to go…more so than the tribal world, hence the change in ratings.

^ you probably missed this comment of mine

A documentary on topless beaches of Brazil will have a different rating than a documentary on topless tribes of Brazil.

Re: the biased nudity factor

^So it’s based on way of life then? Let’s say that a modern woman is taking a shower…the scene may be censored or the rating will go up. I think it’s because the purpose of topless beach is to bare all…it’s a deliberate exposure, whereas nudity in the shower or during sex is understood to be a private affair not meant to be viewed by everyone.

Re: the biased nudity factor

I was only trying to help these poor women. :frowning:

Don’t you think these women are actually bare chested

either because there is no concept of these areas to be hidden

or

they do not have enough clothing available?

So on a serious note:

Why the people of world do not have any intention to help these women (AND men) to cover themselves… and are only interested in making their movies or taking their pictures so the Magazines/documentaries… can be sold worldwide and profit can be made? ?
