RoFLMAO. It's true, the whole northeast digs that sh#t.

And it's catching on with some of the more 'adventurous' in other parts of India too.

LMAO Fido I can't get over that!

Re: The best thing I ever ate

The best Kheer I have ever had is from this small shop in lahore near anarkali.. They made the best kheer I have ever had.

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Western Fav: Popeyes Chicken (it is halal in Toronto) - their chicken sandwich - I LOVE POPEYES!

Eastern Fav: Chappli Kabab from my village (straight from the side of the street, wrapped in todays newspaper!)

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Best thing I ever ate is this Pulao at Kabob & Curry in las Vegas. It was the most yummylicious thing I have ever had. Many restaurants don't serve Pulaos. It was just perfect cooked rice. The meat was tender enough but not too dry. The Hara raita they had was just zaburdust.

Philly Steak Sandwich in Houston. Don't recall the restaurant's name right now. Its an Arabic owned place.

Meetha paan from Daata Darbar in Chicago. This time I went to Chicago, had six in a row :D

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Is it that square shaped bun kabab wiht yummy chutney? Or is it something else you’re talking about?

I would say Flamingo’s paani puri and chaat (its in Clifton)… yummmmmmy.
And this Haleem I ate from some place in Saddar in Karachi, don’t even remember the name :(.
Oh and yeah, Hanifia’s hunter beef burger with their special spicy mustard, just awesome :hehe:

Also, from what I remembered Tipu burger used to be sooo good (near Motta’s) but I had it last year and it just wasn’t the same :bummer:

Re: The best thing I ever ate

No no, it does have a yummy chutney but that I think they provide that with everything .. Fried kabab is something with a bit of curry but the kabab itself is wrapped with thread.. It is eaten with roti/paratha. I dont know what in the world they put in there to make it so delicious.. Yummmmyyyyy

Re: The best thing I ever ate

MIA, its actually not a traditional kabab, its a thick curry. Amazingly rich in taste.

Re: The best thing I ever ate

^Oh, then I haven't had it.
I just remember these bun kababs my dad used to take us to eat on Burns road when we were tweens.... they were sooo yummy.
