The best thing I ever ate

Re: The best thing I ever ate

you go and post in 'my mil is an evil' and 'my hubby does not talk to me' kind of threads. Aap ke liye wohi threads achchi hain

Re: The best thing I ever ate

I don’t post threads about my MIL or call anyone else’s MIL evil :snooty: find one post in which I said anything against my MIL, tau manoon.

Re: The best thing I ever ate

When did I say that you said anything bad about your MIL, but you enjoy other people starting such threads.

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Oh I want to add Gola Gandaa in this list, the one that is sold near Rangoon Wala Hall in Karachi.

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Its in Streamwood, IL. I love their yakhni pulao…just amazing stuff after my mom’s of course.

Eggstacy Cafe is in Oakbrook, IL and everything there is amazing…Ive tried:

Pumpkin cream cheese pancakes with frosting
Spinach feta omelet
Chocolate french toast with whip cream and strawberries
Pomegranate and strawberry juice - its always fresh squeezed and to die for!
Carrot cake french toast with frosting

Its like breakfast heaven :hayaa:

Other things Ive tried and cannot forget:

Artichoke pakoras at Vermillion in Chicago (everything else was crap but these things were to die for)
Anything I make at Flat Top Grill
The chocolate cake at Roy’s in Chicago…its flourless and breaks apart at the touch…served with vanilla ice cream
Sushi at RA
Hot garlic won tons at Hakka Wok

More to come…

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Niks and I, when we were students, went to university of Chicago (the one near 1-57 and Lake shore I think) and had breakfast at one of the diners in that area. That hash browns were to die for

Phajay de payee are amazinggly good, despite the bad area they are in. But oh my gosh it was the best Payee i have had, and their naan with sesame seeds were awesome as well. ony the area is shady and so is the seating....but hey

Re: The best thing I ever ate

Maybe I am crazy but I liked Burger Express’s Chicken burger more than KFC in pindi…although KFC is pretty good.

Re: The best thing I ever ate

In Murree, on Mall Road I had the tastiest Kebab Handi ever. It was served to us sizzling in a karahi in some tomato based sauce...whatever spices they used it was amazing, never had such delicious kebab handi ever.
It is located in a little dhaba right next to/under the Usmania Restaurant not far from Red Onion. To the right of Usmania the guy has like a big dhaig/grill set up and you walk down the stairs for seating. It was served with "patheera naan" like really thin naan and chutney and salad, was awesome!!!!
