Going back to your school days, college/university/mohalla vs. mohalla cricket; often you saw from a distance, this one new person in the opposite team you know nothing about. You haven’t seen him bat before. Haven’t gauged his strengths/weaknesses. You are standing at your bowling mark, staring at the batsman. What went/goes through your mind? What is the best place to bowl that first ball to a new batsman? Just outside that off-stump channel, or right in line of wickets, or perhaps a slower ball for starters?

dhobi although have to say just the way a person carries himself, how fluid his movements are, how he is holding the bat..even if he is just looking at the bat gives u a good idea of how good bhai sahab is, I have been surprised a few times but in most cases u can gauge it.
its even more apparent in football, hardly ever call a person's level of play incorrectly.

Salam to all and Dhobi bhai :D
mohalla vs. mohalla cricket; dead inswinging Yorker (me left arm).
College University; just in the uncertainty corridor seaming it away and then getting the hang of batsman and bowling accordingly.
Yes every Pakistan knows how to bowl a yorker and bamboozle the batsmen, unfortunately the Men in Green are not very focused on it, with few exceptions.
