The best ever book you read

I am a hardcore reader and like to read a lot. I just wanted you people to share the best books you ever read. The books which inspired you or motivated you. Like some of my favourites:

1- Man in the iron mask by Alexandre Dumas (movies in nothing in front of it)

2- Seven habits of highly effective teens by Sean Covey

3- Al-Chemist by Paulo Cohelo.

yes it is like 1400+ pages

i suggest you read it...otherwise summary will be one girl, Lata (or rather her mum) looking for a suitable boy for her and finally finds one...

Its a simple book with simple ideas that most people dont care to think much about.

The Persian Boy by Mary Renault

Anything written by Dostoevsky is a holy scripture for me. But it's so hard to digest the friggin' translations.

Go read if on a winters night a traveller by Italo Calvino. Now that is hard to digest :eek:

I still love Enid Blighton books the best.
