It could have been much worse for Australia. They were 69/5 at one stage so 268 represents a significant recovery for them. The par score on this track is 400

I can see this test following the same pattern as the second esp. if England go on to make another big score in the first innings.

The Aussies are arrogant for sure and they do not always play the game in the right spirit but the way english media and some players were behaving after the second test, this hammering serves them right.

This is what’s so wrong with english media and players. They have one good win & they think they can beat anyone & start bragging about how good they are! I see the same attitude in football, cricket, tennis etc.
