nver had an experience wid that..but i think that would b very awkward..talking to the person and specially if u know that he/she is gonna b the one who ure goin to marry...

we got engaged first, and then came the questioning part. I asked him the most silliest things ever. We have been engaged for over a year now, and i think i pretty much know everything about him.
anyways..you could start by saying:
you: asalaam o alaikum,
you: kaisi hein aap?
she: ws, theek hoon, aap kaise hein?
you: Allah ka karam hei
you: or kia ker rahi hein aaj kal?
she: kuch khas nahi bas parahi/job ker rahi hoon
you: achh (taking interest)? kia parh/job ker rahi hein? kis college/company main?
then you tell her what you are doing these days, what are your goals for future. Let her get to know you a little bit, so she can feel comfortable communicating w/ you. Don't try to tell lame jokes to make her laugh, only joke when appropriate, and be very friendly.

keep it casual like Sara said. You don't want to inundate eachother w/ tons of q's on the first meet.

my husband asked me if I will like to live with his mom.
If I will like to continue school
If I will like to work or just stay at home after finishing up school.
If I will like to move to his state for good and won't drag him back to my home town.
I did ask him few questions.

thats what my hubby did he e-mailed me and then i replied back and then we start talking.:CareBear: it was fun i saved all my mails but they got deleted when i didn't check my account for mnth and a half after marriage.
