Are you kidding me Talha? Out of all the challenges, what ideas and/or contributions and/or efforts did Katrina make? Very little compared to Nick. She never ever rose to the challenge. Always sat back. Yeah, she was observant, but heck, she needed to make a stand and all she did was flirt and use her sexuality … not that the others didn’t but that’s ALL Katrina seemed to do.

Nick deserved to stay not only because him and Amy have a fling going on ( :blush: ) but also because he is very talented when it comes to business. Yeah, he makes mistakes but look at what a good job he did when he was team leader during the Art gallery project. Also, he used his brains when it came down to the rikshaw challenge too, by refusing to piss off the restaurant owner by giving him a full refund of his investment … plus, I like him. :stuck_out_tongue:

My guess is that Amy & Troy will fight it out in the end. Cant say who will win. Amy is one HOT chick!

MehnazQ - why are you talking about previous episodes? when Nick became the PM first time - he won it because of girls - and the last episode which was broadcast last Thrusday - Nick had no ideas - no contributations whatsoever - also Amy was a PM and she didn't even know who come up with the idea of renting the car? even Trump said who came up with this stupid idea of renting the car - you don't rent a car at Casino - you give it away - Amy was PM and Trump should have asked her but he didn't.

Katrina came up with the idea of belly dancers which was rejected by Amy and Nick - it's not the first time happened to her - i saw flaw in Trump's judgement - just because it was Amy's first time in the boardroom - you won't fire her? Sheesh

Nick never won it because of the girls Talha. In fact, he went with his gut instinct and chose the artist HE had confidence in. If I remember correctly, one of the girls wanted to go with another artist. :snooty:

looking at the past record talha.. amy was still better then katrina.. plus alot of time team is going this way but katrina is going the other way....

but certainly i didnt like when she lied infront of em ke i don know who come up with this car idea.. at that point katrina should stand up and say hey wat are u talkin about.. stop lyin it was ur idea or somehtin like that but she was quite..
amy has to save her position thats why she lied but katrina.. common..she is just the weekest link :p

With Heidi gone Troy and Kwame were left outnumbered... again. This once however they chose Bill instead of giving Amy their unofficial stamp of approval yet again; smart move, considering Bill has been fairly consistent in delivering and Amy and Nick 'getting along' so famously wasn't sitting well with Katrina, and now the three had to work as a team.

In yet another shameless plug Trump style, the teams were asked to visit Atlantic City and 'promote' the Trump Taj Mahal for a day. What wasn't clear initially to me at least was if this was a grand marketing promotion or just a country fair type gather-around-y'all-and-throw-your-name-in-this-box kinda raffle.

It appeared it was the latter. Both teams tried hard to lure everyone entering the casino to 'sign up' so their winnings (loss actully) would count towards the teams score... I personally think it would have been more challenging to see how many new gamblers each team would have brought by using their marketing promotion..

Anyways.. both teams attacked this assignment more in a sales like fashion than marketing.. Amy thought small and put up a Chrysler Crossfire (that also explains Chrysler's ads for the program)

Still many people did sign up for the draw..

The other team had Kwame and Troy thinking like kids in a circus .. literally.. Troy did show is rustic county-fair kind of sales skills again by finding a spin-a-wheel and putting up a show near the front door for a $1000 prize. Kwame and him also hired to have a tiger in a cage brought in .. for what.. I still do not know.. I thought they were booking the whole show and would thus bring traffic in.. but it was otherwise and the tiger was more of a distraction than help.

Meanwhile Bill pretty much acting solo figured it was best to hit the VIP Check-in and that's where he hit gold.. he got a couple of hardcore gamblers to sign up for the stupid spin a wheel.. all it took was their signatures so their winnings could be counted and that made the difference.

Nick & Amy and Katrina lost.. Amy chose to send Nick up to the suite.. Katrina squandered the opportunity to hammer this point home successfully and also illustrate how Amy's myopic plan to rent instead of give away an automobile was a disaster, and Donald found that he probabaly needed the love birds to keep MahnazQ watching :) and hence Katrina got fired.

Next week .. it's Kwame probably.. he's outlived his usefulness.. but i wouldn't be surprised if it's even Troy.

yes - you are right about artist Nick chose - but that’s not the point.

my point is Nick did not do anything to contribute in the last episode assignment - Katrina became the victim of on-going manipulation of Amy and Nick.

Troy is a genius - so far i see him winning the competition along with Bill - both of them have different approach - Kwame's presence is hardly felt throughout this process.

Troy is a very good salesman, I concede that much.. but hardly has any 'genius' in him.. he's too 'country' to be able to run a Trump company in NY city.. he'd be a fish out of water.

I think Nick too is just a salesperson.. a haughty one at that.. one with set corportate clients who buy year after year without him having to get 'down and dirty'.. he's been trying his best since the last few episodes to exude an air of 'management' which he's not.

That leaves Amy and Bill as the real contenders.. (i'm not even gonna count Kwame cuz it's crystal clear he doesn't want it.. he's just enjoying the ride as long as it lasts).

Between the two, i'd pick Bill anyday. but Trump may choose Amy.

Kwame survived!!

It was a bit of a shocker.. not that I expected Troy to make it, but it was a slight blow to Troy to lose out when put head to head with Kwame.

The teams remained unbalanced.. Trump assigned them to rent a penthouse for a day for no less than $20,000/-

Troy was the team leader and they met with the right people, did all the right things.. Troy planned a very 'car-salesman' like setup where Bill and Kwame would soften potential customers and then bring them to the 'backoffice' where, according to Bill, Troy would "sell them the undercoating" (the guy was really funny last night).

Versacorp managed to rent it out for 35,000/-

Amy and Nick sat around and occasionally showed the place to several event organizers bringing potential customers in but none came any closer to offering even $10,000. but as is with Trump's properties on his program.. just in the last 15 min a client who had earlier backed away from planning his New Year's Party there cuz the lease agreement stated they should be out of the place by midnight was found 'loitering' in the lobby where Amy and Nick were lounging. Not only did the agree to rent the place, with all the same lease agreement clauses, but for $40,000!!

YEAH RIGHT!!

Anyway it's Trump's program.. maybe he likes the way the Amy-Nick soap is working out for his viewership. The love birds went to Trumps Resort in Miami .. Amy's sister and Bill's dad joined them on the plane.. Kwame, Bill and Troy went to the boardroom where Troy sent Bill upstairs to take his chances against the 'weaker' Kwame..

But Trump favored Kwame's academic qualifications over Troy's street smarts.. (as i've repeatedly said.. Troy is a smart sales person but a CEO or CFO he's not).

I think Kwame came out stronger in this episode.. his educational qualifications have finally been recognized and he has one episode to prove he has genuine leadership skills..

Next time two get fired.. (oh i so hope it's those good-for-nothing Nickl and Amy :p ) but i think it'd be Kwame and either Bill or Nick.

Might i add Amy came out pretty 'desperate' in this episode, trying to get Nick to get 'serious'.. could be a ploy.. could be she is.

I was watching it with a friend of mine and we had bets. She said Kwame will get the pink slip and I said it would be Troy. This was before the Board Room.

The reason I picked Troy over Kwame was because of Troy's entreprenuel nature. I do not think Trump, a legendary entrepreneur himself, can stand Troy in his organization. Plus the fact that he is a loose cannon doesn't help him either.

I think Kwame and Bill will be shown the door next week. Trump is gonna exploit Nick & Amy saga.

The look on Amy’s face when Nick’s father mentioned his “other women” was classic. Khair, I was shocked that they won. They looked so miserable. What are the odds of a guy showing up in the final 10 minutes and booking the penthouse for $40K, for a New Year’s eve party and not caring that he had to be out by midnight??? Interesting.

I think the “shocker” is her trying to accuse the program of being unfair to black people or downright racist.. as Goliko also suggested, could have played a part in Trump keeping Kwame on..

and yeah.. Nick’s Dad totally went after him.. :hehe: I was more amused by Nick’s ‘denials’..

I think the shocker is that Trump had been sleeping with Oma Rosa and Amy since the first episode. Nick won’t be able to take the shock and will pull the pistol in a rage and kill that old guy who sits next to Trump. By the way, where the heck was he last night?.
