The Apprentice - 2014

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

It has to be. The Trump version is puke worthy.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

There are a couple more as well this year: Who are the British Asians in The Apprentice 2014? | DESIblitz

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

ooh thanks for this i didnt know about the other two! Well i kinda had an inkling about Pamela when i saw the name Uddin. But yeah, glad to see more asians and other ethnic minorities being represented

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

So Nurun has an Asian boutique and sells hijabs on a market stall. I don't know why I feel disappointed at how predicatable that was?

No prizes for guessing what her business plan will be either.

Big mistake getting rid of the guy in the first episode. I actually had him down to win it. He's from a similar background alan sugars from. Shows less exciting cuz alan sugars mellowed out.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

I don’t drink tea :snooty:

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

The US doesn't really have a proper apprentice show anymore, it's all celebrity based. It's funny and pretty good. The new season has already been taped earlier in the year but they still haven't aired it yet. Apparently there is some massive fights in this one.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

No, it does matter. One thing you shouldn't do infront of alan sugar is put your hands up and say "we lost this task because of me". He'll fire you right away, same with donald trump. It's happened again and again. It's about fighting for your place to stay, it's okay admitting you may have made a mistake here or there however you're not the reason the tast was lost because of x but you're risking yourself to potentially get fired cause he may well blame that mistake as the reason the group lost. Giving clear reason for why you made your decisions and what impact it was meant to give would be better, and because of the group it never happened that way, not admiting you made a mistake.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

She probably wants to upgrade to a hijab shop, or have 10 stalls all around london.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

All Brits drink tea. Part of citizenship requirement.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

He did have a similiar background, but he was obviously well out of his league here. He messed up with the shirts bigtime.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

I'm an anomaly.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

Does this mean you expand below 4 degrees centigrade?

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

:nahi: I disagree …

I’ve seen it swing the other way so many times … As long as you can demonstrate that you have something to offer that the others do not you can earn brownie points - I have watched the show long enough to arrive at these conclusions … I’m not saying lying down and taking a beating … but minor acts of admittance need to be done to ensure a level of humility and to come back with objective reasons with some blame sharing without being too pointy fingered - Lord Sugar is not stupid.

If you really want to … youtube it … :hehe:

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

Link is not working, kind sir. The British gentleman with a stiff upper lip may be anomalously disappointed.

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

One things that has struck me - Donald trump is more concerned about what Business school you went to and the MBA. Alan sugar is much more gritty and doesnt give you extra consideration for having an MBA. He looks for more real life experience. Just an observation

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

Dear sir, it is not a link ... It is a clue

Now the game is afoot

Re: The Apprentice - 2014

Ok. Will look into it evening.
