The American Campaign to Suppress Islam

The American Campaign to Suppress Islam

The collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 90’s was not just the break up of a state, it was the failure of an ideology, and its end, both internationally and universally. The conflict (Cold War) which broke out after the Second World War between the Western bloc, under the leadership of America, and the Eastern bloc led by the Soviet Union, was not simply an international conflict between two camps, but also an ideological struggle between two ideologies, Capitalism and Socialism. The arena of this conflict was not confined to Europe alone, rather it extended to the whole world, ending with the collapse of the Soviet Union and its fragmentation into many states. The Marxist-Socialist ideology failed as a system and way of life for these states and their people, and Marxism-Socialism ceased to exist internationally as well as universally.

It was natural for America and the Western bloc as a whole to consider this collapse of the Soviet Union and the downfall of Socialism as a victory for the Capitalist ideology as a system and a way of life. It was also natural for the followers of Capitalism to exaggerate in portraying this victory even to the extent that the Japanese philosopher Fukiyama, called it “The End of History”. Ideologies do not end by the downfall of the states, which embrace them, even if this downfall led to the break up and fragmentation of the states, rather they terminate when their nations and peoples renounce them and embrace other ideologies and start moulding their lives on their basis. This is what happened with Marxism-Socialism; all the nations and people, which the Eastern camp was composed of, abandoned it, and turned to Capitalism and started to build their lives upon its basis.

However, Islam, as an ideology, remained existent universally after the destruction of its state, the 'Uthmani Khilafah, in 1924 CE, because the Islamic Ummah with all her different peoples continued to embrace this ideology despite the fact that it was removed from their practical lives and from the international sphere. The ideology remains present in the world as long as there is an Ummah who embraces it, even though this Ummah does not implement its systems for reasons beyond its will. However, it ceases to exist internationally if there is no state to convey it, and to direct international policies upon its basis.

Comment: As if dropping nuclear bombs on Hiroshima & Nagasaki wasn’t enough now America faces a new ideological threat in the face of Islam. Accusing Iraq of possessing weapons of mass destruction whilst being the only state that has actually used Nuclear, chemical & biological weapons, whilst hypocritically pointing fingers at their employee Saddam Hussein. It should be clear to most to see that this war is not about Human rights because in-terms of Human rights abuses, America is no stranger to that. Or this is not about helping the people of Iraq, because if they wanted to help the people of Iraq, why kill thousands by applying sanctions when it knows well, that they don’t affect Saddam but the people. So is this Americas fight against the sleeping giant, the ideology which has been sleeping since the 3rd of March 1924 and is awaking. The silence is about to break………

Kosser

America's victory over the repressive Communist states had major benefits for Muslims, all the CARS have emerged as muslim states free to practice their faith.

Liberty and the FREEDOM to choose your life, your way, was verified as the best means of existance-those who want to practice true Islam are allowed, but an ideology is not forced on ppl-this is the reality of a communist, or religious state-where non complience means 2nd class status and thus suffering.

I'm sorry, is this anything like the Mullah campaign to supress fun? If so, may Allah help us.

this is just bs. america doesn't care what happens in what religion as long as they're not threatened and harmed. the war on terrorism is against islamists and jihadis rather than on any religion.

Well actually the Islamic state is not like what you describe. Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims happily lived under the Islamic state enjoying true justice and were under no compulsion to become Muslim. Christians even fought their own Christian brothers in the face of the crusaders because they knew the laws they were living under were just. The Islamic state is a state for Muslims and non Muslims. We should not listen to the propaganda of the western media in portraying Islam and its values. Islam honours the women unlike the west it just treats women as sex objects look at perfume adverts they have to use a naked women to sell their products she is just an object no honour or dignity. In fact the ideal western woman is one that wears hardly any clothes.

The non-Muslims citizens living under the Khilafah are referred to, in Shari’ah, as dhimmi. The term “dhimmi” is derived from the word “dhimma,” which means “obligation to fulfil a covenant.” Islam considers all people living under the Khilafah as citizens of the Islamic State and treats them with equal status. Discrimination between Muslims and dhimmi is not allowed. The state must secure and protect their beliefs, honour, mind, property and life.

The status given to the dhimmi was clarified by the Messenger of Allah (saw) who said: “The one who kills a Mu’ahid without right he will not smell the fragrance of Jannah even if its smell was forty years travelling distance” [Ahmed].

Imam Qarafi also summed up the responsibility of the State to the dhimmi when he said: “It is the responsibility of the Muslims to the People of the Dhimma to care for their weak, fulfil the needs of the poor, feed the hungry, provide clothes, address them politely, and even tolerate their harm even if it was from a neighbour, even though the Muslim would have an upper hand. The Muslims must also advise them sincerely on their affairs and protect them against anyone who tries to hurt them or their family, steal their wealth, or violates their rights.”

kosser dhimmitude is another form of religious aparthied.
why any group should be classifeid?

Kosser,

Islam is way way way too big and powerful for countries like Ameerika to supress. So sit tight and watch the show, so far islam has expanded and will continue to do so.

Kosser,
Amreeka has no interest in suppressing Islam. Amreekis just don't think like that. However, they will not let go of the people who think that they want to fight amreeca and can plan on doing that in the villages, caves, on the net or the drawing rooms. Most Americans expect this fight to last atleast 50 or 60 years if not more. So let the noise start ....

America is interested in freedom and personal liberty. So long as that as not threatened, America will not suppress anything.

But you can be damn sure if some Mullah shows up saying that Americans cannot drink alcohol or wear bathing suits, America will send a daisy cutter his way.

America's system of governance is closer to the Islamic system of governance than any other system implemented within the World.

why would america try to suppress the ideological similitude in governance.. because the Mullahs have hijacked the system to suit them and to elevate them to power.

Bravo BlackZero.

I find myself one of the most openminded Americans I have ever met.
And likely these days..one most openminded that you will ever meet in your lifetime.

What I cannot tolerate is Extremists of any Color,Creed,Race or Religion that try to impede on peoples freedoms.

Freedoms of Speech.
Freedoms of Religion.
Freedoms of Belief.

I think all humans are entitled the above.

And I need to add... as long as ones beliefs don't cause harm to another.

Follow the Golden Rule!

Agree or DisAgree?

If this is what you think then your understanding of the Islamic ruling system is incorrect

The Conflict Between the Democratic System and the Ruling System in Islam

The Democratic System The Ruling System In Islam:

  1. Its bases is made by humans.

  2. Its basis is taken from revelation from Allah.

: 2. The ruling system is in the form of republics (Pakistan, Egypt,) or kingship(Jordan, Saudi Arabia). And it allows any structure of government acceptable to people

                                                   2. The ruling system is that of Khilafah. This system has no succession by inheritance. And it does not allow switching from Al-Khilafah to republicanism or kingship.
  1. Democracy is established on two premises;
    I. Supremacy is for the people.
    II. The Legislative Branch
    III. The Judicial Branch
Other institutions support these authorities, such as, the army, internal security, etc.

                                                          3. In Islam, the supremacy is for the sha''ria and not for the people. The Ummah appoints somebody to implement and rule by the Sha''ria. As for the structure of the ruling system, it is as follows:

I. The Khalifah
II. The Associates (Mu’'awen-ul-tafweed)
III. The Associates who carries out orders
IV. The Ameer of Jihad
V. Governors
VI. Judges
VII. The Administrative System
VIII. Majlis-Shura
IX. The Army

Q= Define the golden rule.

What is it? Do you know?

If so, describe.

secularism and democracy benefits mulims in non-islamic world
since more muslims live in non-muslim countires than the other way
around. muslims are living in india, china and europe as minorities.

Actually, it has been freedom, democracy, secularism and capitalism that have expanded for the past 200+ years and will continue to do so. It is not Islam that US wants to suppress, but the radical idealogy of those who are murdering innocents around the world. Freedom overcame facism, totalinarism, Nazism, Japanese Imperialism and Communism. Religous extremism is next.

It is the audacity of the Mullahs and the Khalifaites that is Galling! Muslims are being told what to think on every thing. And they want to become the Chaudris on interpreting the Quran for every Muslim. Since when did Islam develop these bhramins who have to intercede between man and God? It is 'We know better because we spend all our time studying nothing but obscure religious texts way beyond the Quran, and we cannot do anything useful to earn a living any other way, so you all have to be muslims the way we tell you to be'!! Cover your heads, use your left foot, don't listen to this music, don't smile that way, don't look up at the sky after such and such!! When did Islam become all these rituals with no spiritual content???
I apologise for venting before hand.

I fully empathize OldLahori.. Islam indeed has been hijacked.

** reply: I concede that the "sharia" is not the top legislation.

but read the US constitution - the constitution was written prior to Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address,on 19 November 1863 (about "of the people, for the people, by the people") .. by almost 100 years.. **

: 2. The ruling system is in the form of republics (Pakistan, Egypt,) or kingship(Jordan, Saudi Arabia). And it allows any structure of government acceptable to people

  1. The ruling system is that of Khilafah. This system has no succession by inheritance. And it does not allow switching from Al-Khilafah to republicanism or kingship.

** reply: but you will have to concede that the system of electing the representatives in an efficient one and abides by the ruling of Islam .. so far I have not seen a true Islamic State/ Khilafah since Hazrat Ali's time..**

  1. Democracy is established on two premises;
    I. Supremacy is for the people.

    VII. The Administrative System
    VIII. Majlis-Shura
    IX. The Army

** Ahem.. i believe you have stated three premesis here.. regardless..

Democracy is established on representative government of the people, i.e., a government which is acceptable to most people. Read up how the third Khalifah was elected.. then try come back with a way to negate the election process

American system is based on three arms of government
A. The Executive
B. The Legislative
C. The judiciary

All three are created as checks and balances so no one oversteps the boundaries of their alloted power.

I would compare how the system is comparable from what you have stated

The Executive branch includes
I. The Khalifah OR the President
II. The Associates (Mu''awen-ul-tafweed) OR the Advisors to President
III. The Associates who carries out orders OR the Cabinet
IV. The Ameer of Jihad OR the Defence Secretary
V. Governors - OR the Governers of States

The president is the leader and provided he does not overstep his powers he is fine, if he does he can be impeached by the legislature (house of representatives) just like a Khalifah can be removed for not ruling according to sharia by the Majlis-e-Shura.

So now thats covered. lets check on Legislative

VIII. Majlis-Shura OR the Houses or represantitives (senators and congressmen)

The legislative branch is allocated its place in Islamic form of governance too.. the only difference is that in Islamic system the sharia would be the basis for any legislation. But sharia is the edicts of God on different matters, how they will be enforced still requires creating a legislative framework. i.e. who will be empowered to undertake orders and how, and what type of checks and balances will need to be imposed to ensure no one exceeds their "alloted powers".

In sharia, its stated what needs to be done but not how and who. That is what the legislative framework is all about. just see how its working in Iran..

The Majlis-e-Shura need to be acceptable to the people, for they will not follow the edicts of a council based on nepotism. to be acceptable the people will need to send their own representatives.

The first Majlis-e-shura was instituted by Hazrat Umar, which included all the leaders which would be acceptable to the people. Any decision made by such council would be acceptable to the people as their representative were present at the council.

In this way Hazrat Usman was elected as the next Khalifah after Hazrat Umar, even though he was not the choice of many of the members of that Majlis-e-Shura/ council. But the majority decision was upheld and the dissenters agreed to his nomination.

In this respect, the British Parliament is closer to Islamic system, as the elected representatives choose the Prime Minister.

AND then
VI. Judges OR the Judiciary.

of course one cannot even begin to say that the Judiciary does not form part of the Islamic system of governance. For islam was sent to institute justice amongst men...

In Islam the judges have powers over the Khalifah, though in practice this has not been the case for at least 1300 years. For the judiciary was filled with "the khalifah's people" who would not remove him from power.

In America, on the other hand, you could see the power of the judiciary most recently on Bill Clinton scandals.

Finally
IX. The Army

which is subserviant to the Executive/ Legislative/ Judiciary even in Islamic system of governance.

Conclusion
I did not say that the american system was Islamic system, but it is the closest system to the Islamic system of government.

If you state that the Sharia is the top most law of the land, then it will be the Islamic form of Government.

I have just proven it using the premesis provided by you. so take heart, that you contributed to this.

Islam has existed and expanded for 1400.... No comparision there... its not a question of supression of Islam BUT the fact that US is too tiny to even think about it. The option is simply not there.

For the moment US should deal with NK,, rest latter...
