a straight answer for what kaleem? i read somewhere a while ago in a hadith exactly what i said. There is countless ahadith in bukhari that degrade the prophet and other prophet like moses..(one which comes to mind is moses bathing and a rock running away with his clothes and moses running naked after the rock), countless others on how the prophet dreamed of aisha while she was 6 before sha had attained puberty and telling abu bakr he wanted to marry her. YOU can go look them up because i dont see you asking debater for proof when he brings up some anti-shia forum as proof lolz. as i asked before...the first offensive post was by jaan leva and i didnt see u getting your panties in a knot over that. Or is it just my existence on this forum that u find annoying (which is just too bad because there aint much u can do about it)
regardless, this thread is of a different topic altogether. if i ever post such a thing in a relevant thread then u can ask me for proof.
last advice is that if it gets your panties in a bunch when i talk about islam being manmade, the same way it bothers some shias too when you call their customs man-made. everything good and right did not only exist between the coming of muhammad and end of 3rd khalifa. but as i said it is futile to argue because beliefs/faith is an individuals and just like you can never change my mind with a quote from so and so that lived years ago, i cannot change yours.....however if u do not go nuts over anti-shia comments while claiming to respect Ali then dont go nuts over my statements either (unless u wanna just admit its a personal thing)

I was waiting for them to come forward and try refute the arguments posted but as expected they did come forward only to post taaney.
are u really interested ? i am an entry level financial analyst bhai jaan i wish i had the time to dig for ahadith to refute what debater has cropped up. during the weekends i dont log on to the internet. anyways shiachat.com is an excellent place to start if you are looking for answers. post it there and show us the results let us know what thread name u posted. also u can contact scholars directly if u are that keen to know.

Lets not get caught up in generalizations. Which one of the guppies do you know for a fact that have participated in these activities? Cursing Sahabas is akin to questioning the judgement of none other than Muhammad:saw: himself.
Shweety, if you have read my previous posts in the religion forum you will see that I do not belive in all ahadiths…as a matter of fact I only believe in the ahadith that do not go against Quran. It is a pretty simple rule that I was taught by my father and I belive it to be the best to judge the authenticity of any hadith.
It does not bother me at all that you “exist” on this forum. You can call Islam manmade all you want, that is your opinion. I question the validity of Karbala “quotes” mind you, I said quotes not events. These quotes are used to charge the emotions of the shias to a stage that they are foaming at the mouth and start spewing disgusting words for the companions of Muhammad:saw:. It is disgraceful and uncalled for.
As far as ant-shai comments are concerned, there are plenty of “you” around to defend in a manner you see fit. You see, I did not attack you or Memsahib personally(in this thread) , yoou started it. If you are going to dish it out, be prepared to take it too. Now answer my question, How many marsiayahs written are actually based on facts and how many are made up stories?

“This hadith is also recorded by your great (Shia) Mufassir Abul-hasan Ali ibn Ibrahim al-Qummi in his Tafsir of Quran ‘Tafsir-ul-Qummi’ of Sura Al-Ahzab where he records the following:
“**Abu Abdullah (Imam Jaffar) **reported that that Banu Israil were saying that Mosa doesn’t have what men have and when Musa wanted to take a bath he would go to a place where nobody could see him. One day he was taking a bath at a river, so he put his clothes on a stone so Allah (swt) ordered the stone (to go away) so it went away from him until Banu Israil saw him and knew that it was wrong what they said about him.”
The **prominent Shia scholar al-Fadl b. al-Hasan al-Tabrisi **has confirmed this event in his Majma’ Al-Bayan.
Another prominent Shia scholar, Ni’matallah al-Jaza’iri, has defended this report, too.
Now you did not know that prominent Shia scholars and Imam Jaffar as-Sadiq (ra) ( Keep in mind that you take him to be an infallible person and you cannot doubt or contradict his sayings) are in complete agreement with the hadith which you were mocking at.
You can confirm with Shia scholars of the references given from the Shias books.”

kaleem i will tell u what i think of shia practices in a thread that is relevant.
how many questions have u side-stepped? i asked u is it ok to kill fr cursing sahabas and u said not to make generalizations. I asked u to open a different thread and u continue to ask me the same ghissa pitta question of whether i think it is wrong for shias to sing marsiyas. u ignored the first farter jaan leva for saying "shia's bulls*it " and have been picking only on me....u ignored what i said abt u getting pissed when i say bad things abt islam in general but u have a problem with marsiyas. u got pissed when i asked about maeraaj and did not know the correct term for it. but you had a ball with insulting shia practices. to answer u, i could not care less for shia or sunni. but what angers me is that you are a hypocrite of the biggest sort who can go on and on with me to tell him if i think shia practices of marsiyas is wrong or not but will have zilch to say to people like guy1 and jaan leva who say it is ok to bomb shias.

i dont get it
i dont know who tabarri is.
i dont think anyone is infallible. i had seen the hadith on moses running after the rock only in sunni books. the same goes for muhammad-ayesha hadiths...
