Perhaps I didn’t understand what you were trying to say…and maybe I still don’t get it.
Nowhere have I suggested that the couple does not have a choice. I’ve simply expressed my opinion on the said choice.
I appreciate you understanding that this is my opinion and it doesn’t make me either right or wrong but then don’t be offended and suggest that I’m dictating anything at all.
Umm…just in case you didn’t notice…this is a predominantly “desi” forum. So you will find that the vast majority of topics will be discussed in light of “desi” culture, traditions, etc.
You are very welcome to believe that it is redundant to have favours and then send out thank you cards after the fact. And if this is what you wish to do or have done then be confident in it and don’t be hurt or offended if, according to my opinion, you didn’t make the mark. After all, that’s only my opinion and perhaps the opinion of a few others…
