So my point is that Islamic terrorism is not just what you see in Afghanistan and America alone cannot be held responsible for Islamic terrorism. There are various other causes, with the only common theme being that all of them involve Muslims.

Yes, and we should look at the causes, which are imperialism, occupations, economic disparities, social inequalities, and political disenfranchisement, and not blame the religion or its adherents, because that just makes you look like a dumb ass.
