I remember a few years ago when malala was attacked there was a very big debate on the topic on this board and on social media as such. A big population was trying to obscure the attack, the logic the terrorists used then applies today as well. We should make a conscious decision if we can allow a handful of terrorists to use our religion for their nefarious designs. In the garb of upholding the religion they have made it a laughing stock in the world.

Like every terrorist attack on innocent lives, us Pakistanis mourn but do nothing. We forget it and let it happen again. I really wish this tragedy wakes up the government and they really do something serious about it starting with getting rid of Taliban sympathizers within its ranks. But I am afraid, like always this tragedy will be forgotten or replaced by a new one. Just sad. RIP to all the folks who lost their lives!

More than them its the religious parties who need to take this task up, if they don't take it then ban all these religious parties. I can't believe I am saying this, but any molvi/imaam saying anything positive about these snakes needs to be prosecuted and hanged outside same mosque. How could they justify this ? The are children - they have committed no wrong! Don't they feel the slightest bit of remorse? How can they become so cold? Don't they feel shame when the target children? I have two children and I think this is one of the worst thing that could happen to a parent who loves their child!
They didn't commit any wrong? They did commit wrong, by taking birth in country where we are okay hating "other" sects, where we call "other" sects/groups kaafir and "wajib-ul-qatl", where we can't stand difference of opinion, where I am always right and you are wrong and "deserved it".

I am at a loss for words in what happened. I just hope we don't turn on ourselves. Its good to see the political parties come together on this. Lets hope this means that the people change.
The parties have all been behind the operation from Day 1. The people on the other hand have not been. There have been Pakistani's who have supported these scum from day 1. They are the problem. They need to burn in hell.
The way i feel now, I wish a mob would form and burn down every SSP, JEM location in Pakistan.

Only the cowards attack unarmed, innocent school children and proudly claim responsibility. West and with the people of Pakistan in their time of grief and condemn this cowardly act in the strongest of terms. Our condolences go out to the families and parents of the victims. Ambassador Richard Olson also issued a statement of condolence to the families of the victims. “The United States strongly condemns senseless and inhumane attacks on innocent students and educators, and stands in solidarity with the people of Pakistan, and all who fight the menace of terrorism,” a statement issued by the US Embassy in Islamabad says. “Few have suffered more at the hands of terrorists and extremists than the people of Pakistan,” the statement says, adding that “that is why it remains essential for the United States and Pakistan to continue to work together to secure peace and stability in the region”.
These are desperate measures by the terrorists, but they should know that these cowardly acts will not go unanswered. They will be hunted down and eliminated.
