Till Email Do Us Part

Re: Till Email Do Us Part

Wow. Ya’ll are too clingy.

I guess if my husband asked for it, I’d give it to him. But probably would not give him access to my online bank account or anything involving social security numbers. Knowing my luck, I’ll probably end up with a desi sleeze bucket who would steal all my money and then accuse me of trash.

You girls gotta protect yourselves. And then you girls, when slapped in the face by retarded men, will go crying that they abused you, stole your money, stole your jehaz, stole your mehar and all that jazz. Just make sure to keep your finances secure and so that he can’t touch them. Apart from that - an email password? Meh. A guy who is gonna ask me to give it to him, unless it’s for casual reasons like aahmed describes, is retarded.

My parents, for example, have had to go fishing in emails for me when I’ve been at a remote site, and so they may know my password. I doubt they’ve memorized it. Same with the sister - I was at the mall and waiting for word on something so I had to have her go fish something for me into an account and I gave her my password. I doubt she even remembers it.

That’s very different than starting off a marriage saying, hey lets exchange passwords. Especially with south asian marriages - a lot of times, you don’t really even know the person well enough when you marry them. So why would you fork over such personal information so soon??
