TTP leaders are unrepentant. They have threatened more such attacks on schools.
It seems they might have found new god-fathers...

My heart goes out to victims and families..i am just lost of words..as i stated in other thread. WE do need counter-terrorism strategy to end this menace. And Government of Pakistan was willing to talk to them. I have been saying..that..there is NO use of talks with these terrorist. Also..this is not time for politics..let us all mourn for these students, their families as well as whole Pakistani nation...

Nothing will happen I think we should get used to this state of affairs. The country is in war for a decade and there's no counter terrorism policy, the courts have not punished even a single terrorist, the army differentiates between good and bad, the nurseries in Punjab are untouched, intelligence apparatus has failed time and again and the politicians are cowards that they can't even condemn them by name.

It is now between us and them. Politicians & Army have to choose the side.
I finally believe that army has already taken a clear psotion...and that is the right one...operation against every terrorist. no good taliban or bad taliban anymore..
It is about time our political and religious leadership take a clear position and show it by actions. No sir, just condemnation will not work. Political leadership has done nothing concrete. Army chief is begging them to do more and more. Let me be very specific:
1) national assembly/senate shd do more than simply condemning these attacks...they shd work together to finally induct a constitutional amendment which will make it illegal to write or speak anything in favor of these terrorists. We should have done this long time ago
2) All political parties should throw away those members who have known relationships with terrorist organizations. Every party has bunch of them. Show us your seriousness and thrown them out
3) top leadership of every political party (Nawaz, Imran, Siraj ul Haq, Zardari etc) should write articles in newspapers and make speeches on national channels on a regular basis creating consensuses among masses about these terrorists... have they ever done it? no more external or conspiracy theories. Call it ""our war".
4) Army Cheif has said so many times that army cannot win this war on its own...P*olitical leadership should become serious about enhancing security in towns and cities by having a clear and disciplined anti-terrorism policy and institution..where is that policy that PMLN was promising us?*
5) Political leadership shd take clear actions against all toxic madrassas, toxic syllabus. show us on ground it is happening. PMLN in Punjab aand PTI in KPK have the biggest responsibility
these are just some steps.

How could they justify this ? The are children - they have committed no wrong! Don’t they feel the slightest bit of remorse? How can they become so cold? Don’t they feel shame when the target children? I have two children and I think this is one of the worst thing that could happen to a parent who loves their child!
Sad thing is so many Pakistanis showed zero sympathy towards Malala - if they could d it to one child what could stop them doing it to hundreds?
Peshawar has seen many dark days but this has to b the darkest. I visited Peshawar back in March and thought how resilient the people were and how happy they appeared regardless of what has gone on. This has to be the worst days in Pakistan’s history.

we need solid steps, condemning the act is not enough.. we are loosing our loved ones and we have to stand for them...
If this political leadership have not guts to come forward and do what they have suggested then they better be thrown away.

I've erased and retyped many times on wut to write on this news but cant find right words. My heart is literally crying to hear this shocking news this morning. I wish i could be there to share the shock of grieved parents. But i'm sure nobody can.
May ALLAH grant a lot of patience to the parents, family and friends of deceased ones and a very speady recovery to all the injured ones.
Regarding the attackers... my hate and disgust dont hv enough words to be expressed.

The Army has to come clean from with in ..... the political leadership of any Party regardless small, medium or big has to come clean from with .... wipe out this menatality of selective judgement .... a killer is a killer is a killer regardless whom he has killed and what his/her motivations are. Period
No one and i mean no one should be above the law .....
If this sad and horrific incident isn't the catalyst to wipe out this threat once and for all then i don't know what/who will wake up this nation and bring its PPL to its senses
