Is it for real? At the time of Jashneazadi, it is in bad taste. We should be discussing and promoting the good things about Pakistan. or does the gs administration think that we dont have any?
Re: Terrorist Banner
See the whole banner and than comment.
Re: Terrorist Banner
i did head master saab. it seems more time was given to terrorist headlines. I would rather have promoted the good in Pakistan at this event.
btw, did ravage have anything to do with this banner? ![]()
Re: Terrorist Banner
It gives the message that these few fringe loonies do not represent the Pakistani nation.
Re: Terrorist Banner
Pakistan: Say ‘NO’ to Terrorism and Say ‘YES’ to Peace ![]()

i still dont see why you would be promoting them loonies and not masoom peaceful people like me.

we are more apologetic in our behaviours about what pakistani haters do... It used to be different back in the days how our freedom day was celebrated.... In our freedom shows/functions we enjoy indian music these days.. complain about that boss!
Ironically, our message is changed by some terrorists; nonetheless, I do not see it against the actual message.
Re: Terrorist Banner
Yeah thats kinda weird, we should be promoting something better about ourselves.
Re: Terrorist Banner
i support the banner.![]()
Re: Terrorist Banner
This has to be the worst banner ever. Quite insulting actually. Deliberating trying to create an anti-Pakistan sentiment on Yaum-e-Azadi.
We are suppose to celebrate the Indepence Day of August 14, 1947 (Ramadan 27, 1366) not August 14, 2007.
Re: Terrorist Banner
Dragon who is telling you to celebrate it today, tum beshaq aglay jummay kar lo ya hafta bi
Re: Terrorist Banner
About banner on right
I don't think it goes far enough. It should read:
"Say no to suicide bombings
Say no to beheadings
Say yes to Quad's vision of Pakistan"
Re: Terrorist Banner
i dont get it why people are making it such a big deal...its just a patriotic banner with a resolution....
Terrorism is a cancer to our society.....And we will never succeed unless we get rid of this menace.....
*This banner serve as a reminder that our parrished brave soldiers and countrymen lives are not forgotten and are not forgiven.....and we will succeed. *
Re: Terrorist Banner
Kabootar ne samjha ke aankheN band kar leney se Billi uss ko khaye gi nahi…Removing the banner is not going to eliminate what is going on in Pakistan, and around the world. The banner serves as a reminder and I don’t find anything offensive in the banner! Hence, I think it should stay where it is :k:

Re: Terrorist Banner
I think it shud stay, and further say:
"Yeh hum nahin...lekin anti-islamic, chori daketi, corruption filled hum hain."

Let me ask you something since your try to be a Sacha Paka Muslimaan....and cant complete a whole sentence without dissing your own country.
Do you oppose terrorism ?
Do you oppose terrorism in Pakistan?
Re: Terrorist Banner
All those objecting to "yeh hum nahin..."
a banner has to be truthful; which this one is. because whether you like it or not, when the word pakistani / muslim / jihad is uttered one of the first thoughts that come to mind in the world is terrorism. it is painful but true. the banner says yeh hum nahin".
a banner has to be short and catchy. this one certainly is.
a banner is just a banner. lighten up.
Re: Terrorist Banner
^^ yes, and although some individuals have taken that path, that is not the identity of Pakistan. That is mainly media hype.
Did you ever go to an american site saying say no to serail murder, particularly on the 4th of July?
If western media is hyping the act of a few Pakistani individuals, why do we have to join them? Why not promote all that is good about Pakistan? This way we can tell them yes there is some problem in our ranks but that is not what this "land of the pure" is all about.
Terrorism is not just a Pakistani problem, yet we donot see other countries flying anti terrorism banners on independence days.
I dont think the banner gives an appropriate Independence day message.
Re: Terrorist Banner
^^ yes, and although some individuals have taken that path, that is not the identity of Pakistan.
And that's what the banner says! But if it hurts many people's feelings, may be the site admin can reconsider and get something else up.
Re: Terrorist Banner
What is wrong with the banner? Its quite appropriate. Celebration is the realization of where we are and what we want. Banner says that out loud. We are at the verge of becoming a terrorist state and we do not want that and we are not.
When you show your doctor, your blister or blemish or growth, you are not promoting that. Instead, you are the promoter of your health that is why you are exposing your unhealthy part.
