Really? Its easy to make claims on perceptions but facts can be challenging: List of terrorist incidents in Pakistan since 2001 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

List of incidents in 2012 looks to be the longest while list was much shorter in 2001-2006.

The reason is they are better documented in 2012.

While for 2008-2010, only the major ones were listed.
