id just like to add that they constituted a minority at that time and it made perfect sense. now its this small percentage of freaks terrorising a much larger percentage (sunnis + shias). also, suppose shias quit this yome Ali. should they feel safe during moharram? alryt lets quit moharram as well and lets stick to the prayers at the mosque. possibility of a suicide attack? i believe so.. lets now abandon the mosque as well. target killing? statiscally it wouldnt make a difference
