Incidently, this case illustrates why under certain circumstances government should muzzle the press, by force if needed.
CNN should have been prevented from giving certain details out. The BBC too - a British millionaire was killed shortly after giving an interview to the BBC by mobile phone syaing he was hiding in the basement.
A Welsh couple claimed that an international television news channel put their lives at risk by broadcasting details of where they were hiding in the Taj Mahal Palace hotel.
Lynne and Kenneth Shaw, of Penarth, South Wales, said that they hid under tables as the terrorists stormed through the hotel.
“The terrorists were watching CNN and they came down from where they were in a lift after hearing about us on TV,” said Mrs Shaw. Other survivors described barricading themselves in their hotel rooms for two days to escape the gunmen who were holding hostages near by.
Where is the ISI chief. He is not coming.
Besides Maddy, I dont think India invited ISI chief to help them flush the terrorist out. There are better secret service agencies across the world willing to help India. I think Indian govt wanted to share the news that What they believe are pakistani connection to the attack.

Ostrich syndrome, Indians can never be involved in activities like this, must be someone else. wake up and look around and time for you people to admit that the terrorists were Indians and not Pakistanis and British.

my neighbours are Indian, we have not introduced ourselves yet since they moved in recently. A mutual neighbour told me today that the Indian family is very worried about the ongoing events, apparently a nephew of theirs was an employee at one of the hotels and there is no news of him yet, a group of us went over and thats when reality hits you. Politics aside, this is a sad day for humanity.
There are better secret service agencies across the world willing to help India.
If Bharat thinks that ISI was involved then only some representative from ISI can provide best help in investigations. No CIA or Mossad could be of as much help as ISI.

i dont expect co-ordination from isi and whoever that has requested to meet them. i expect threats and counter threats. seems like india is feeling like it was before pakistan conducted its retaliatory nuclear tests in 98
Two Pakistani suicide attackers, part of a group of 20-25 alleged Lashkar-e-Tayyeba operatives that launched a deadly attacks in Mumbai on Wednesday night, had checked into the Taj Mahal hotel four days earlier. This is what two of the apprehended terrorists now in Mumbai Police’s custody told Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials.
“One of the two terrorists who had checked into the Taj Hotel on November 22 was Ajmal Amir, a resident of Faridkot, Multan. The other could have been shot dead in operations,” a senior IB officer told HT after the suspects’ debriefing. “The two used false identities and checked into room number 630,” he added.
“The duo received several visitors between Saturday, November 22 and Wednesday, when the attacks began. These visitors carried bags probably filled with weapons and explosives.” The officer said Manjar, who was also held by police, told interrogators the group was in telephonic contact with mentors in Karachi throughout the
attacks.
The suspects allegedly revealed the plan to attack Mumbai was formulated by the LeT brass a year back. They also claimed the group of men “specialised in terror training at Muzaffarabad in PoK and naval training in Karachi” from Laskhar trainers, another interrogator said.
An IB alert issued last January had claimed that a team of LeT terror team had been assigned to strike in Mumbai from sea.

Intense fire fight going on in Taj Mahal Hotel. Its link nothing else we have seen in last 2 days. I guess there are more than 1 terrorist in the Taj (perhaps 2-3) unlike what was told last night by Commander of the commandos

Seven of the terrorists who brought carnage to Mumbai are British, Indian government sources claimed yesterday.
They said two British-born Pakistanis are under arrest. And another five suspects are said to have been born and raised here.
Two of the seven are from Leeds, one is from Bradford and one from Hartlepool, the sources claimed. All are aged between 20 and 26.
The claims were made as the death toll in Mumbai reached 155 – with predictions it could go as high as 200.
The Hartlepool suspect was allegedly found in the five-star Taj Mahal Palace hotel, scene of some of the most horrific killings. The man from Bradford and one from Leeds were allegedly discovered on the 17th floor of the Oberoi-Trident Hotel.
A second man from Leeds was allegedly captured near a jetty after a gang of around 25 terrorists landed in Mumbai by boat on Wednesday.
The suspects were allegedly found with documentation, possibly including passports, which revealed their origin.
The sources say they also spoke to each other in a heavily-accented Punjabi common in UK Pakistani communities. Gordon Brown yesterday urged caution saying it was “premature” to draw any conclusions.
He said Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had not told of him of “any evidence at this stage” that Britons were behind the massacres.
