Re: Terror attack in Mumbai, Hotel Oberoi under siege
its an out dated info, u didnt even provide the link....hmmm cant do much buddy ..u need to stop relying on indian sources cus , if indians were good enuf they cud have stopped Mumbai blasts...
Hmm Smart guy … wouldn’t let one pass by … this is the link to a UNITED NATIONS resolutions … the one in New York … you hane the option of clicking on any of the formats … try the PDF … go to page 48 and see for yourself.
Now remeber this list was updated on Novemver 12 2008 … so yes it is a bit old …
Just like you can not "rule out anyone's" involvement, you cant claim with 100% surety about someone and that too on TOP LEVEL but I do understand, Singh and other are just politicians and they will speak what "janta" want to listen specially with some state elections looking on head
But you also cannot rule out 100% that this is not done without the help of Pakistanies. Do you.
There is a history and previous involvment. This time I dont believe its the state, but elements in Pakistan are fully capable of doing this.Go to PA in this forum and I can get a feel how things are there.
you can add names if a govt is pursuing UN to add names or bio data. if indians are that sure, why cant they hire an assassin and get him killed, but wait they dont have skills or people who can get the job done, otherwise, mumbai wudnt have seen this carnage. pity u!
P.S never heard of White masjid in Clifton, Karachi tho.

indians singing an old song, blame Pakistani and seek an easy getaway! infact indians should Hire ISI, may be ISI can do a better job protecting India lol

if 'ISI' is involved then this statement cannot be more true lol

Badddyyy you wanted proof ... you got it .... see it doesn't make any difference ... we are where we started this discussion from ... so please dont shout proof proof ........ if things have to be sorted out everyone has to introspect ..... otherwise we will end up killing each other and some else will gain from it ....
P.S ............... there IS no white masjid in Clifton

No white masjid at least i know, i am sure, smart boy u know its address too!
on the other hand, this is not a proof, its just a statement issued by UN including few other terrorists. u think after seeing this report terrorists must be staying at the same place ? (if any)
i think you need to be prepared for answers once the curtain will be lifted and ISI will have nothing to do with this fiasco! God help india, manmohan & aam bandha!
Re: Terror attack in Mumbai, Hotel Oberoi under siege
i think we should blame india for shortage of electricity, corruption, lack of education, clean water & poor health services in Pakistan!
i think we should also praise india to assign such a hard working character (aam bandha) to GS at indian govts expense! no doubt, we are having such a nail bitter convo here! it wouldn't be possible without Indian help!
Re: Terror attack in Mumbai, Hotel Oberoi under siege
the terrorist we see in the pictures look more indian than pakistani, who agrees? anyways, we may never find out who the REAL terrorists were......... may Allah save Pakistan

i was thinking the same, they look local indians ! no offense!
Re: Terror attack in Mumbai, Hotel Oberoi under siege
The more I think about it, the more I'm actually impressed with the decision to send General Pasha to India to help with the investigation.
It marks the first time that a potential Indo-Pak situation is being responded to maturely and constructively instead of with egoistical and stupid nationalist thinking and flag waving.
It is unfortunate that this maturity is only being shown by the Pakistani side, with India responding in the typical hysteria of pointing at Pakistan immediately and, for example, boarding ships suspected of connections to Pakistan.
I only hope that General Pasha will be treated seriously and with respect, rather than being insulted, and most importantly, that his security and well-being are not compromised in any way.
If he arrives and is simply bombarded with accusations and silly demands, this would be a terrible opportunity lost.
If on the other hand he is taken into confidence into the investigation and given an opportunity to apply ISI's own knowledge and expertise into identifying the attackers and their support network, then this tragedy could in fact help to build a bridge.
Incidentally, as a serving General, would he go to India by a civilian or a military flight, I wonder.
*It was both depressing yet unsurprising, then, to note the exchange between one of the attackers and the anchor of an Indian news channel on Thursday morning. The attacker, briefing the channel on his motives and where he came from, noted he was from “Hyderabad, Andra Pradesh”.
“You mean Hyderabad in Pakistan?” shot back the reporter, before the attacker re-iterated his original answer.
Early reports that the vessel which carried the terrorists to India’s shores was Karachi-registered also proved to be false when it was confirmed that the ship (MV Alpha) was in fact registered in Vietnam.
The insinuations are merely a continuation of a decades-old policy to blame unrest and attacks in each other’s country’s on the other’s intelligence agencies – Pakistan’s Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) agency and India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).*

Maddy, DG ISI isn't going, a Director level ISI rep is leaving for India!
This is perhaps the best decision taken by any leader in Pakistan ...... working with each other is the best way forward ....... after all Pakistan has been suffering from the same scrouge as was the case in marriot bombing ... it could be the handywork of the same guys .....
As for ISI's working technique .... i am sure Zardai is after them to solve the Benazir Bhutto case ..... he did take it to UN as he "doubts" over the investigation agencies .... but since he is in power now he can surely "push" them to find the killers.
He probably will come in a civilian flight .... no need to fly a full military plane to India just for a general. These are tough times for Pakistan and they should take these austarity measures. As for landing of a Pakistani military plane in India .... there has been a marked improvement in the relations and if i am not mistaken after teh Samjhota express incident .... a PAF C-130 landed in Delhi to evacuate their nationals. Goes to show how much the situation has improved.

Even that is better than before. No previous Pakistani government has ever reacted to an attack on India, particularly one that India blamed prominently on Pakistan, by quickly sending a senior intelligence official.
While the nationalistic feeling would be to react to India's insult, Gilani has essentially ignored it and is actually doing something to help.
Of course, the same watchouts remain. If India use this to continue to lay false accusations on ISI, rather than avail themselves of ISI's assistance, this is an opportunity lost.
Not only that but internationally this help to bolster Pakistan's argument that it is not involved. Actually giving help in this way speaks much louser than words.

ISI solved it (FATA militants to blame for attack) but Zardari and Bhutto's supporters won't be happy until ISI or anyone else arrives at the conclusion they have already made.
