What I don't understand is Indian media's obsession with everything American... I mean you can almost sense their giddiness at finally being able to call this incident "India's 9/11".

If you get the feeling that i somehow am trying to put the blame on Pakistan establishment then i would say i am sorry for giving such an impression. Both India and Pakistan is sufering from the same elements .... that is the crux of my posts as least ....... what has happened in last few days could have been done by any one from islamic or hindu " terrorists" .... but if you try to see through the retoric .... you will realize that thsi incident is harming Pakistan as much as it has devastated India. Only time will tell what is the truth but i sincerely feel thsi act is an effort by people to destablise the region ..... forcing India to react against Pakistan ... to get Pakistan take its "eyes off the ball". I might be wrong only time will tell.

ISI chief being requested to come to India sounds to me like "Come teach us, we're incompetent."
They have failed badly, but the main reason is that there was no supervision on their locals. Hence the attack on the Jewish community is enough evidence to believe that locals had hands in this very attack! It's more over an unknown place (as one stated on BBC).
All of BBC and CNN's so called experts they are bringing in are all Indians who are blaming Pakistan for this attack

The incident happened in India so they call on Indian experts for commenst .... when Marriot happened they did the same with Pakistani experts. As for blame game ..... as in case of Mariot ... secuirty experts point in the direction ..... in that case it was the FATA and NWFP ... here it is Pakistan. But as far as i have seen ... no one is baling the Pakistani goverment or the establishment.
As for " Indian Chicks" .... my money would have been on the People's war group .... they have the muscle power or the capability to carry such an act .... but they rarely move out of their area of operation. Plus their grudge is against the " Indian State" so they are highly unlikely to hit an economic target.
As for local muslim groups ..... i doubt they have the capability or resources for such an act. They would require logistic support from outside India. For unlike Pakistan where guns are freely available in NWFP, they are hard to come by in India, especially the AK 47.
The Kashmiri's wont do it .... they have a good thing going...... in a long time people are looking at them as the victims .... so they gain nothing by such an act ... it can jeopradise whatever good will they have gained over this summer.
You have to look at what is happening to LTTE in Lanka .... once it was identifed openly as a terrorist group the support form overseas dried up and now they are fighting for their survival.
Hence no group has so far taken responsibilty for this act. 9/11 changed a lot of things most of all public support for actions that kill civilians.
It is very good that Pakistan is sending the head of ISI to India. It shows that Pakistan is on the right side in the war against terrorism, alongside USA and Israel, and that Pakistan has nothing to hide. I am sure this will be widely applauded by the world community.
India had done a great disservice to itself by naming Pakistan and making accusations without proof. Indian accusations are coming out as the usual knee-jerk reaction rather than anything substantive. If anything Indian reaction has helped Pakistan.
Actually the attack on Jewish community is what gives them away … there is not that much hatred for Israelis in Indian muslims as there is in Pakistan … just for you information … you know what is the favourite destination for Israelis in India … Read the report … maybe some Kashmiri on this forum can " enlighten" you on how Israelis are treated in Kashmir … suffice to say on this topic for now

Tell me one attack in India where India didnt finger point at Pakistan? Besides Samjooota Express and such kinds. They even blamed ISIs involvement in Gujrat riots. So come on, wake up!

aam bandha bhaijan. Pakistan and India are both victims of terrorism. India and Pakistan will be much better off working together to eradicate the menace of terrorism, rather than India blaming everything on Pakistan.

Again, how do you coordinate and organize such attacks, even if you are from abroad training and financing? It's pretty pathetic to let every one this world believe It has been the ISI. At that time Pakistan was accused of the attack aswell. Now we know that It was Indian Citizens that were behind the bombing.
That is why I believe India has scored an own goal by accusing Pakistan of being behind the Mumbai crisis with any proof and whilst the operation is still continuing. Also, by Pakistan sending the head of ISI to India at Indian request is a great move, as I do not believe that India expected this to happen.
