Duryodhana though he had all traits of a crooked leader he did all which was expected of him as a king.He did all the duties of a king.He protected his subjects,he did all charities and donations,he fought the great war keeping all the principles in line and in place and he died like a true legend.The legend has it that he was showered with flowers from heaven while he was taking his last breath.Durrodhana seated in heaven and reached that divine spot much before Pandavas.He did his duty like a true warrior and also while taking part in the epic battle he never resorted to any kind of treacherous method to win the war.He fought the war standing by it’s rules. Also he was grounded just by betrayal .(During the duel between him and Bhima,Bhima tried to defeat him by whatever ithe duel that neither side would hit below the waist level.Bhima having tried everything and not been successful ,hit on Duryodhana’s thigh and he would be grounded.).
