Basically I am not an authoritative father so the kids are fairly comfortable discussing with me or around me, since Safy is getting over his breakup with Clara and now LIL Harris is saying she wasn’t that hot anyways, Safy asked him on scale of 1 to 10 and he said maybe 6, I asked them who do they think would be 10 and their answers surprised me, Lil Harris thinks Rihanna is 10 and Safy thinks Beyonce, so guys who do you think is a ten in females and ladies who is a 10 in males. I think the new Wonder Woman is really beautiful. Surprising they both like darker women, I raised them well.

Plenty of good looking (current) folks out there! I’ve always thought Charlize Theron was lovely. And I guess I’ll be somewhat cliche and say Clooney… he still looks great in his fifties and I’ve always thought he was well spoken when I’ve caught him in interviews on the telly.

This is how almost all youngsters talk and I dont really micromanage. Humans always valued beauty and handsomeness and now these young people have a universally accepted rating system and makes communication a lot easier. Although everyones 10 could be so different. I was proud of myself when they both chose black women as their 10s. I knew I didn’t raise racists.

People are really crazy for toning here nowadays, the new concepts of beauty are so different. Boys are liking bigger hips whereas before that was not considered beautiful.

Desi culture is fraught with racism towards blacks and darker skin tones and that concept of beauty is transferred into their children. I have been to umpteen desi gatherings and hardly see any non desis there. We have youngsters here who hang at our house are black, white, brown, chinese, gay, bisexuals, lesbians and we never differentiate.
How would your family react if you brought home a black man?
