Is it for real or just a myth?

Any experiences?

well certainly, there is a supernatural side to this life. and I am one of those who believe in it. I have had some personal experiences however, telepathy's not one of them but i think there must be something to it :)

I dunno, its pretty eerie to know what the other person is thinking without them saying a word. I've had this connection with a few folk.

I can't say if its a myth or for real but what I can say from personal experience that it does exist.

I dont know much about it but once in Lahore a man who was supposed to have those powers caught me off guard.. though he was not communicating with me mentally but knew to my astonishment all that was in my mind and some past events too.. I was a bit scared..

I believe in it & know some very truthful people who have experienced it. And contrary to common belief it's not a human power that has lately been mastered but something that was present throughout history.

Ah well.. ok, so I guess my next question is, how does it work?

Does our mind produces some electro-magnetic forces when its thinking which are transmitted to another person; or is it merely someone trying to figure out what is in another person's mind like palmists or tarot-card readers or pschics?

Yar Faisal bhai, I was talking to someone else about this the other day. He said that the are lots of 'waves' present in the air, such as infrared etc which we cant see, or our senses cant percieve. Our eyes, for example, can only percieve normal light but not infrared or ultraviolet, similarly certain ppl's sense are more 'in tune' and can percieve thoughts.

I was thinking about telepathy since few days !! hmmm so it does exist but I think it works only if person has listened to voice to have some access to thoughts..

Is telepathy God-gifted or something that can be learnt?

There was an article in the paper about this the other day.

The writer gave examples of navigators who would perfectly give readings of ships at two different points and then suddenly the ships crashed into one another as if the readings went wrong.

The theory to date is that the continuous radar waves emmited from the radar somehow intermingle with those produced by the human brain. The guy is trapped in a trance and automatically starts to pass on wrong (yet radar corrected) readings to the ships which finally leads into a crash.

It was a good article indeed.

Only Allah knows whats in ones heart....

However we humans CAN predict and sometimes that ability to predict may be taken as telepathy....

All in all..i dont know if it exists or not...but i am somewhat skeptic in its existance.

I know people who knew one a loved one was about to die, and when their own lives were in dangerfrom somebody.

Rationally I find it hard to accept, but I believe God protects people who are sincere, and gives them the gift of a form of telepathy.

we have only use 10% of our brain, the other 90% is still a mystery. don't u think that something more lies within that 90%.

yup, we all do have special abilities at times that just need exploration..sometimes we don't realize them..

i believe telepathy works..in my childhood my brother once read an article in some magazine and he started developing his abilities..and he was able to melt the candle at one point..but he discontinued practising more i guess..

Actually telepathy is not only related to humans..it all started with animals actually. You might wanna read about The Hundredth Monkey Principle..and how it started :)

I remember getting a book for my brother..and just by flipping pages it looked interesting..the book is called The Telepathy Kit by Tara Ward.. maybe some day i'll read it all :)
