Even there is a denial to what happened to Jews. In some cases complete denial and in other cases difference in number of victims as per literature available in Pakistan. Recently, Hashim Nadeem’s Novel ‘Khuda aur Muhabbat’ became quite popular in Urdu readers and it was partially dramatised as well. One part of the novel is about research by a student to deny holocaust (this part was not dramtised for obvious reasons).
If you go through religious literature, you will find denial at its best. But there are certain exceptions as well. I’ve just listened to tafseer of Sura e Bani Israel by Dr Israr and he covers the Jewish history in comprehensive way. He at different places of his tasfeer also accept the atrocities and sufferings of Jews by Hitler. He also refers to a Hadees Nabavi (SAW), that what happened to Bani Israel (Jews) will happen to Muslims as well, and the result is before us.
