I want my husband to quit oil and gas industry and become a school teacher instead, how can I convince him? Some tips please?

If a teacher didn't want to be a teacher in the first place, he would be a horrible teacher making his, your and students' life miserable.
Why not let him do what he wants to do 9-5 ?

I need more of his time and this job takes too much time. Also, he'd been teaching high school kids in past so I guess it's quite suitable fo him.

Yaar aap log meray dimah se socho na. I want him to be ale to spend more time with his family and that can happen if he becomes a teacher.

Almost anyone can teach, some teach well but very few actually enjoy teaching. You have to be very sure that this is what you want to do for the rest of your life before making such a career choice. It is very difficult to go back to industry after you have spent a few years in a teaching position.
He might consider moving to another company with better working hours before giving up for something he might not like to do.
For me at least, it is extremely important for one to be in a job one loves to do. It improves quality of life at and outside work.

Already tried....doesn't work. I want him to leave his work completely and work from home which is not possible with this field.

oh he does bring papers and project with him to mark because he's also an online teacher for quality. That's why I want him to give up everything and just be with us. I don't want money, I want his help with kids and stuff. And also, I get bored so easily so I want him to keep me entertained with his presence all the time.

Hareem if this is true then its childish to tell husband to leave everything:hehe: You should put your kids in good private schools and you should get a job for yourself so feel relax.
