Taweez culture

Re: Taweez culture

I have seen it in my family, so Syeds.

Re: Taweez culture

One more thing I observed, about these taweez gande wala log, they always put blame of all the things on jin, bhoot, dev. Half of my cousins, who were not interested in studies were found to be aaseb-zada when they were taken to taweez/ gande wala/walis :rotfl:

Re: Taweez culture

i have seen sunnis wearing imam zamins with 'mashaAllah' on it for their shaadis.
personally, i do not believe in taweez and such stuff.

Re: Taweez culture

I think wearing string (dhaga - especially red one on wedding day) is a local culture that is also followed in Hindus.

Re: Taweez culture

Yeah, I also saw it in Sunni weddings...
