Those successful people with tattoos are typically not desi, they’re usually any group of people apart from Muslims.

Muslims don’t believe in tattoos on their body, because of the desecration of the body that God has given you.

So, it follows that a muslim who gets a tattoo → must have been a rebel.

or maybe they just practise their islam differently? the practise of islam can be quite varied, there are people who don’t believe in plucking eyebrows, or dating or having your head uncovered,etc., I would not consider all these people rebels. Muslims as a community seem to pick and choose aspects of Islam, doesn’t make one person any less muslim than the other. so who am I to judge on a thing such as a tattoo.

Personally I find tattoo’s unattractive, but it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker if I liked the guy. Unless his whole body was covered or something. I’d probably consider asking him to laser it off though.
