And while blaming Pashtun-killings on MQM is far-fetched and unproven, still it was ideal for ANP to flourish intead of Taliban.
Displacement of extremists in Karachi is the reason of Talibanization of the city. It is not due to war against them but due to government’s negligence and collusion with them. Pakistanis and parties like PTI/PMLN still do not consider war against extremism their own war. If they had been serious about stopping these mufsideen then they would have gone after them even in Karachi.
As Jolie suggests, why is there no army operation in Karachi against them? Even today, the government is planning to stop ongoing operation against extremists citing lack of money.
Outrageous or what? People are dying in the city. And the government is leaving them in their jaws.
