OK, so one person here said that when they were having their periods, they went for classes and talks, but didn’t pray. So the injunction is not against stepping foot into a masjid when you’re having your period (which sounds kinda Hindu to me), but rather a woman may not pray to God while she is menstruating?

So did Allah sorta set women up to be second class Muslims? I mean, she cannot pray to Him during 1/4 of most of her life?

Am I misunderstanding this?

if u r having periods u should not go to Makkah and Madinah but i think u can go to other mosques and just listen to tilawah. u can do tasbeeh and zikr, even u can read surahs but not touch Quran or pray or fast. ppl even do hajj in periods. well it doesn’t mean we become second class muslims its just nobody who is not clean can do these things. even a man if after intercourse or discharge(without intercourse ) doesn’t take ghusl can’t pray or fast or go to mosque.
