Lastly, I am in no way trying to tell anyone on how to raise their kids or any such thing and I apologize if it came out that way. I just wanted to give my opinion as a guy and how I would feel if someone such as my mom would try to have this conversation with me.

Dude, why are you sorry, if people know how they raise their kids, then why are they asking questions here.
