Yesterday Dunya TV Channel shown this latest program of Dr.Asrar. Always thought him as a reasonable scholar but amazed to see his strange views. Dr.Danish who was conducting it himself a PhD religious scholar was sometimes laughing , sometimes asking him..Dr.sahab , what you are saying .Watch this ’ wonderful’ program !

What made you ever think that he is a 'reasonable scholar'? :)
We have already discussed the lashing from political, religious and 'intellectual' point of view.
And anyways, he said he believes that the video is fake. He is saying that 'lashing' is the punishment prescribed in Quran and is justified having followed proper regulations.
His views on Taliban and co are twisted though. Can we go back to loads of other threads to discuss the lashing issue?

Anybody raise , took guns, slaughetr people , kill innocent working women accusing them of being whore , hang people from trees out of graves after being dead, behead policemen , government officals, blast all schools .As a result after such acts when ‘Islamic Caliphate’ established , then start giving people’ Islamic Shariah Punishments’ !!!

First of all we are not sure of the authenticity of the video.
Secondly Dr. Israr is a a great scholar of this time. One cannot be 100% perfect....no one is. He has his views and they seem generally fine. Why are you guys not perturbed about the drone attacks and collateral damage?
If you are Muslims how can you deny what Allah has revealed in the Quran?
What is wrong with lashing? Its perfectly fine. You commit a crime, you get punished.... Taliban may be wrong in the way they are doing it. First establish that Taliban actually did this.
There is no way of verifying it. In fact, seculars who are the real enemies of Pakistan and its ideology have made that fake video to malign Islam.
Interestingly all these enemies of Sharia and Islam have exposed themselves.
Celebrate since the Parliament has also passed the resolution for the Nizam e Adl.

Please tell me how this video is not authentic, is this not on TV Channel own website? It was telecasted all over Pakistan, and secondly he maybe a great scholar of this time for you only, for me he is in the same line with taliban's/extremists/killers/thugs .. these are the people we should get rid as soon as possible.

He didn’t mention any of that in the video, neither refer to it. Its your ability to not comprehend what he was alluding to, that is the problem.

There are too many contradictory reports to establish proof of something. Why are we getting so emotional?
Do we not see in Islamic history what happened when contradictory reports were presented? Think about it.

He said Islamic law should be brought into Pakistani law through constitutional means, and by shareefat.
I didnt really hear him promoting rape, murder, and that list desert bird posted.

The only way to bring Islamic law to Pakistan is by gradual imposition. It will not be voted in going by the state the people of Pakistan are in at the moment. If we are required to stop injustice by enforcement then why are we not required to bring Islamic governance by enforcement? So long as it reduces the harms on people during this course of action and at the end it creates a state of pace and sanctity this cannot be condemned. However on the other hand people are not ready for Islamic Shari'ah in Pakistan the rules will be too harsh for the soft populous and will like oppression to them especially those in elite circles.
Either way a type of enforcement is necessary to bring it in although not by physical violence or threat thereof.

Firstly, zina's punishment is 100 lashes according to the Holy Quran. The girl in the video receives a few...
Secondly, after lashes one cannot walk... and after the whole drama she starts walking without any problem.
Thirdly if the video is true, there is nothing wrong in flogging her if she has committed that sin.
Just as rajm (stoning) punishment for fornication is given in public (according to the Quran), male or female, there is nothing wrong in the way this punishment has been conducted.
Lastly, think before you say that these punishments are barbaric. It is the Islamic sharia. We as Muslims are proud of and content with everything that sharia brings. If you think according to Western standards, than nothing will seem right to you in Islam.
Why don't you guys speak out when barbarically millions are bombarded by these upholders of Western justice?
