If I were Imran, I would vehemently support military action because its all the rage these days. Logic tells sell what sells. Imran isn’t as business-minded as others. You can see that Bilawal is an instant hit despite the fact that a quarter of his city has already gone to Taliban. Liyari is a no-go area for security personnel, all while PPP is into the 6th year of governance in the province. The police commandos who died en route to Bilawal House were not paid salaries for months by the government which dished out millions on a cultural fest. But since his stance is fashionable, he can go along with anything.

I do not agree with Imran’s wholesale support for peace talks. But I genuinely believe that this effort to end the bloodshed without spilling further blood should be explored for once and all. Did you hear Nawaz Sharif condemning the Taliban? Please share a link with me. Imran yesterday said that if talks fail, we would go for a military operation even if it has only 5% chance of success. You might have not heard him because media’s priority lies with Bilawal than Imran.

I have no problem with your censure against Imran, but I would also like the double-speak of others to be taken to task equally. Why the fence-sitting of PPP, MQM and ANP should get off scott-free? Why these parties consented to talks in APC? If a military operation is so important, why it was not done when GHQ, PNS Mehran and Kamra Complex were attacked? Who was ruling the country then?

Let me return to my question: Can condemnation stop the terrorism?

Condemnation alone will not but you have to stand for what is right, and let me ask you a question, has the appeasement policy stopped terrorism. They are butchering our innocent people while the so called negotiation are on and not a word of condemnation or request to them to stop. There is a world beyond IK and his appeasement policy, where innocent people are suffering due to his appeasement of these pigs.. All you people talk about negotiation and what the other parties did. They were a failure that is why there were hopes with PTI, but this policy is wrong. The day IK stands for the rights of the innocent people instead of appeasing these pigs is the day I will support his stance. If condemnation has not brought peace neither has the appeasement policy. It has failed spectacularly.
