As I said it elsewhere, Imran should have not given any percetage in his statement when it came to the ratio of success in a military operation.
Having said that, I just read an article of Haroon-ur-Rashid in which he quoted Gen Kayani as saying that he mentioned that “in case of a military operation, the terrorism rate in the country may come down by 40%.” Sohail Warraich also confirmed yesterday that the figure of 40% was mentioned in the meeting. He in fact said that a cabinet minister put the success rate at 10%.
What Imran said was actually right, but obviously he should have not divulged this information publicly.
