I dont know whether the thread will soon turn into excuses but it is already being turned into the typical balme Islam for everything. Taliban are Afghanis and why cant we say Afghanis killed the engineer.

Why are you getting Defensive Ehsan bhai? I am actually supporting Islam saying that Taliban has hijacked it and what they are doing isn't true Islam.
Taliban does its act in name of Islam, "Buddha Statues, to death of innocents in Waziristan" are all acts in name of Islam. I can get more...
and true believers of Islam should clearly dissociate from Taliban saying waht Singh says, that they don't belong to any religion and don't belong to Islam.
That aint' happening, I haven't seen any voices against Taliban in Muslim world saying that they are using Islam. Not even in this forum...

If that's not happening, many should stop blaming rest of the world for understnading Muslim world from the tainted glasses of Taliban....

Great Britain today surprised India by urging the UPA government to contribute troops for International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan and do justice to its own increased role and strategic requirements in the land-locked country. Delhi to boost Afghan shield

The option is to come out of Afghanistan, or support Afghanistan and complete projects..
First option will lead to playing in hands of terrorists..
Second option will lead to prosperity/ friendship and reducing terrorism...
You would have surely preferred the first one. some sane people are choosing the second one...

I believe it is the Taliban that brought Islam into this. If I am correct, talib refers to someone who studies the Quran. The Taliban base their actions on Islam.

Show me quotes from relevant places where its said that Taliban is not true Muslim. Show me protests against Taliban in any place in the muslim world. Show me Islamic countries ganging against Taliban since they aren't following true Islam...
