i am suprprised no one has evenmntionned the taliban taking over kohat tunnel briefly. kohat tunnel connects peshawar and kohat and opened over 3-5 years ago. this area was not amilitant stronghold but it appears theyhave been driven out according to the army. these hills connect to badaber where there is an airforce complex and cherat which is an ssg centre right?
