Taliban besiege 46 Pakistani Muslims in Mingora

And yet their supporters still justify their crimes against Pakistani Muslims.
The only kind of peace possible from these khariji fasadis is the peace after death. This is the darkness that is engulfing Pakistani people.

DAWN.COM | Provinces | Militants besiege 46 security men in Mingora

MINGORA: The Taliban took control of the city of Mingora on Monday and reportedly laid siege to a place which housed 46 security personnel.

‘This is a clear violation of the Swat peace agreement,’ an official who did not want to be identified said. He said militants were patrolling the streets and holding positions at key points and on important buildings.

According to sources, militants attacked the headquarters of security forces located in the circuit house and a police station in Mingora, but attacks were repulsed.

The local administration imposed a curfew for an indefinite period after the attacks. Earlier, the curfew was in force from 7pm to 6am.Clashes between security forces and militants were reported from Shamozai, Matta and Bahrain.

However, no casualty was reported till late night. Police have confined their activities to police stations.

A group of armed Taliban stormed the Rahimabad police station in Mingora on Monday night and blew it up. Local people said policemen had vacated the station just before the attack.

Security forces have also established checkposts and started searching vehicles in the area. Shops and markets in the main Mingora bazaar remained closed for the second day because of fear and tension.

According to a handout issued by the NWFP information department, the Taliban continued their activities despite the peace accord they had signed with the government.

Over the past 16 days, five people were killed and 21 kidnapped by the militants. Three incidents of blasts and several cases of car-snatching, looting and firing, erecting road blockades and armed patrolling by militants had been reported from different parts of the district, the handout said.

Militants blew up a government high school for boys in Tindodag area of Swat on Monday. It was the second government school blown up after the February 16 peace accord. On Sunday, a government high school for boys had been blown up in Nengolai.

Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Muslim Khan claimed responsibility for the attack on a convoy in Swat on Monday in which one soldier was killed and three others suffered injuries.

He said the attack was a reaction to what he called movement of military forces to positions in violation of the February 16 peace deal. He said the Taliban would carry out such attacks if security forces continued their activities in the valley.

Yeah those (pakistani security forces) attacking muslims and killing innocent women and children under the guise of collateral damage at the behest of foreign non-muslim powers and getting paid to do are at pinnacle of being muslim...

And suicide bombings against innocents, fighting against a muslim state is the pinnacle of being a muslim talib as per shreeah of sufi m. That's how it works right? What has the taliban achieved other then killing muslims on a regular basis?

The Pakistani Muslims who these kharijis attacked did NOT do any of these. Hence they can NOT be held accountable for ANY excuse these anti-Islam kharijis may have.
This is the first lesson of Islamic justice.

Suicide bombers are no different then the pakistani fighter or gunship pilot, nor the artillery gunners, nor the base commander where the drones take off, not even the top military and civilian leadership who approve, order and direct the killing and maiming of innocent women and children...

I have the courage and conviction to condemn them both...let's see if liberal/secular extra-ordinaire's followers and other can find the same...

No they're very different actually:

1) The pilots, base commanders are not omitting suicide - an unislamic act.

2) They're not deliberately targeting innocent civilians. But the taliban and other jihadis have a habit of using civilians as human shields.

The simple fact is that the taliban kill because they have gotten use to this lifestyle of killing and no matter what they do, it is considered halal as per shreeah. Their can be no debate with them on what islam actually means as they only consider themselves right and everyone else kuffar. That is the height of jihalaat we are facing today.

Also, tell me where in islam is it ok to mutilate the bodies of your enemy as the taliban routinely do?

  1. Is a matter of religious debate, no point given a any religious argument in this department.

  2. Is a hogwash taken directly out of the manual of lies of other anti-islam entities such as the Israeli defence forces and their bible belting, rapture invoking, right wing, evangelical, extreme christian zionists…off course they are deliberately targeting civilians, knowing fully well that their actions rearly result in the deaths of the so called militants and more often then not, 687 out of 701 (The News International: Latest News Breaking, World, Entertainment, Royal News) to be exact, the deaths resulting from drone attacks thus far have been civilians…the 14 militants have been named, but no bodies have been produced…

With this track record, anybody continuing with their murderous reign has the biggest lust for blood…

Re: Taliban besiege 46 Pakistani Muslims in Mingora

When you have such a cult-ish force taking over city to city and edging themselves closer to Islamabad, and also coordinating crimes in other metropolitan areas of a nuclear country, only an idiotic superpower would not pay heed to what is going on and try their best to hamper this cult-ish group.

Innocent people are dying, yes, but the day the Taliban and Al Qaeda "Jihads" end, so will the death of innocent people.

Re: Taliban besiege 46 Pakistani Muslims in Mingora

Wow, suicide now is a matter of religious debate? So what great scholars of taliban are conducting this debate? Oh, that's right, they're too busy preparing the suicide jackets to think about debating anything. They'll find out the result of this debate when they land in hell.

When taliban aunties cannot even get the basics right about suicides, mutilating dead bodies, the only solution to their mental disease is to kill them.

Also, good job with the thesaurus, too bad your points are still invalid.

Well those at the periphery (another word from thesaurus for your pleasure) of islam and openly hostile to it would not be privy to any religious debates nor any nuanced understanding of it's tenants...islamic history is rich with examples of suicidal opposition and hostility towards foes and threat far greater and militarily superior to them going back to ghazwa-e-badar, ghazwa-e-tabook, jang-e-yarmook, jang-e-qadisiyyah, tariq bin ziyad's foray into Spain, Jalaluddin Khowarzemi, down to modern times with Omar Khattab in Libya, and hapless devoid of F-16s and apache gunships palestinians and Lebonese....All of these wars/conflicts seen from a neutral prespective would yield certain deaths for muslims hence, suicidal...

Many a muslim scholars, , have declared suicide attacks in darul harab and especially where there is no other alternative, where muslims don't have access to same military technology as those non-muslims and their local toadies who attack them have, to be acceptable...

Right. So, coming back to the topic, we have already established that taliban does not even follow the basics of islam, let alone be a real islamic movement of any kind. Also, going on a mission where your death is near certain is different from pulling the trigger (or detonator) to your suicide jacket killing yourself.

What a shame, you are equating great warriors, sahaba-e-karam to suiciders, shame on you... perhaps the biggest sign of kharijis.

And a bigger shame on you for defending those collaborating with the haters of sahabas and their imam prophet...read up the epithets and hatred the right wing christians of the republican party, which initiated the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and were the paymasters of your hero mush and his military for the grunt work in Pakistan and Afghanistan, have for the very same sahabs you so disengenously defending...

That's your opinion and given your limited knowledge and hostility towards islam, you are in no position to establish anything...

Re: Taliban besiege 46 Pakistani Muslims in Mingora

[mod] somali_pirate- I informed you before that supporting Taliban or other terrorists or condoning their actions is NOT allowed. There would be no more verbal warnings. [/mod]

So is this your selective application of whatever rule you arbitrarily apply to my posts, which as you claim defend certain terrorists or do you include and consider terrorist of other varieties, e.g. ethnic terrorists and their defenders...

Please do highlight and cite where I condoned the actions of terrorists?

Also, which of the forum rules have my posts violated?

People from our part of the world are inherently incapable of practicing or even attempting to internalize the liberal, democratic, and supposedly pluralistic norms and practices...those claiming to the champions of these ideals are teh first to make dissention and free speech their targets when establishing and ramming their brand of reality....hypocrisy and selective application of rules, laws, and tolerance have been the greatest hallmark of liberal/secular forces in in pakistan's history...

Re: Taliban besiege 46 Pakistani Muslims in Mingora

[note]Try practicing free speech in Swat & see if you still have head. Rules are rules & they're equally enforced. If you don't like it that is just too bad. If you have complains try feedback forum.

Re: Taliban besiege 46 Pakistani Muslims in Mingora

Ok, now cite an example where I have done exactly that...secondly does this rule apply to ethno terrorists of urban Sindh or are there exceptions to this rule...

You only perceive me as being hostile to Islam because I don't fall to my knees in praise of taliban, yet the taliban are actively engaged in unislamic acts under the garb of islam which is the REAL sin.

Compared to the talban's knowledge of islam, I am a regular scholar.

Anybody who calls what happened 1400 years ago an impediment in the advancement of human race can safely be assumed to be anti islam....
