I agree with this perspective , though I think its too early to say anything about Imran Khan. He’s still a civilian and not in power. He is bound to take responsibility for the security of his party workers. Once he comes in power inshallah and has the state machinery at his disposal and if he still continues to take the neutral route, then we can definitely class it as cowardice .. but right now, I back him up fully coz he doesnt have any resources that will protect him or his party workers.
Lets face it , the word is the same , but the meaning of it has two faces ..
In Afghanistan , the Afghans are fighting against the American takeover. Thats justified I believe, America had no right to cross its limits. However , the Afghans did not disassociate themselves when rowdy Pakistani Taliban started commiting criminal and barbaric acts against the muslims.
Had the Afghan fighters openly disassociated themselves from these so called Talibans , and sent a clear message to the world that they have nothing to do with these criminals , then no one would have called the Afghan fighters bad people.
but clearly they are standing in unison with the Taliban that are busy killing more muslims then anyone else ,in the name if Islam and hence any Taliban be it Afghan’s or Pakistani’s are criminals and need to be tackled with equal force.
