Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

My mom accidently chocked an ostirch at Six Flags.....why do we always feed the animals when the sign clearly states "DO NOT FEED ANIMALS"?

Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

thats why they are more mad people outside the mental than inside.

Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

This is just about being cheap.... The same family I talked about in my other evil MIL thread? My mom had given the newlyweds a jewelry box made of wood, very beautiful and pretty. That was about 4/5 years ago. Last year we go back, given the custom gift(which was full of toys and expensive chocolates and everything) and what do we get back? Thatsame jewelry box in the same box. How do we know it was ours? My mom had bought 2 or 3 others like it from Bradley's before they went outa business...

Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

^ jeezz.. thats not horrible

:omg: Thats hilarious… and totally cheap of them.

Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

Appalling behavior, madam.

Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

My friend's mum was poisoned by her inlaws after she asked her husband to sell the house they had back in India cos they were struggling to pay their bills over here in the UK. How messed up is that??

A girl I used to know in my teens was being brought up by her dad and stepmother, who she didn't get on with at all (mum died when she was was v.young).. Dad became seriously ill and was taken to hospital where it soon became obvious he was not going to survive..

A few of the dad's friends, knowing of the bad relationship between his daughter and stepmother, asked him to leave a cheque for her of at least 10k or so just so she could get by (he was really well-off so even giving double that amount wouldn't have been a big deal) but naively or stupidly or whatever he didn't and after he died his wife threw his daughter out (after buying herself a new Merc and her own son a new flat) so she went off to live 'back home' with her grandma..

A few years passed and she fell in love and got engaged to a guy from there, was getting on with life, going to uni etc. then suddenly was diagnosed with Cancer.. the stepmother refused to help her come back here for treatment (think she didn't want to pay for the ticket or let her stay in her home) and she died at the age of 24. I always think how must she have felt those last few days when she knew she was about to die and without a dad or mum to look after her or calm her fears :(

Re: Tales of Desi Horror!!!

There is a really creepy story from our community.

A man killed his wife in the bathroom and than even went to Pakistan for 2 weeks. When he came back the corpse was still in the bath. He called the police and started acting.

All that stuff that he was in Pakistan and he doesn't know anything etc.

The police found fingerprints and his DNA on a knife. And know he is in jail.

One might ask the same of you, though the phrase "desperate for attention" springs to mind.

I sometimes wonder why I even bother to respond to this kind of trolling behavior -it's like trying to have a serious debate with the village idiot (and though I don't live in your village, I could hazard a guess as to who that might be).

sigh In a forum founded and frequented largely by South Asians, I (as a South Asian) chose to relay stories regarding my local South Asian community. If that "speakes [sic] of racism" to you, then more power to you. I suppose that any auntyji who gossips about the happenings in her tight-knit community would also be guilty of having a "racist attitude", in your warped view. Hell, you'd probably label any Yenta who carps about her family members an 'anti-Semite' (Does she criticize her Rabbi or Cantor as well? Then the woman's *clearly *a Nazi!).

I never claimed they did. "I sincerely hope" that one day you learn to read critically. Until then, find some other female to continually seek attention from.

Do you ever check any of your ludicrous statements before blithely posting them here? The word Desi is a term that describes people and things (such as languages and cultures) who/that originate from South Asia; by it's very nature, it "lump(s)" together the many people, cultures, languages, etc. that come from and make up South Asia.

If you're going to insist on wasting time, I'll thank you to make it your own and not mine.

Sadly, I don’t see the “silver lining” in being tarred by the same brush as those other three clowns. I don’t know if this is one of those things that (once people find out) makes it harder to find a rishta, but I suspect it is. :bummer:

Hmm, a situation like this may make it more challenging for a girl (if the mom had a daughter) to find a rishta. Desi society is more lenient with guys than it is with girls.

It's not so much that people will blame the younger son, but that no other girl or family would want to deal with a family like that, and attending a wedding in that family would be awkward, to say the least...

That is really sad. This kind of woman should get a daughter in law who will poison her or at the very least throw her out of the home and treat her the same. What comes around goes around.

Oh I wasn't saying that the younger son is to blame. And I understand that other families would be hesitant about dealing with a dysfunctional family. But if you're referring to rishtas......yes, it may be challenging for the younger son because of his family background........but it may be even more challenging for him if he wear a a daughter.

what a disgusting lady....at least the girl is in a better place...

And I have a great idea what is wrong with you. You wanted desi bashing for some deep rooted grudges. Someone pointed out. All your gibberish shows you did not like that. Welcome to open world of internet.

These kind of talks and venting works in close environment with like-minded 'friends'. When you open a thread like this, you will hear the response. Don't like it, tough! :)

LMaoo ive heard this story 2, however i heard that she didn’t win, the fact that the court even allowed such a case into court is beyond me!!!
:meeno:

Creepy much? Why'd he kill her anyway? Money, fame, to marry someone else? Do you know Bells?
